GoPro HERO 4K HD, guest host. ENDANGERING DOLPHINS
I just wanted to post something, I’m sure other people may have caught it during the presentation tonight. The guest presenter with Carrie tonight, I missed his name, I was very offput with him. I’m not sure if he is a Go Pro representative or an HSN correspondent, but while showing a video of himself and his girlfriend swimming with dolphins, he said something that shocked and appalled me.
He said that he was told not to bring a camera into the water with the dolphins, BECAUSE the dolphins would think the shiny casing was a fish and would try to eat the camera. He exclaimed that he told them "no way, I’m bringing my camera in".
I’m sorry but not only did he not listen to the professionals he potentially endangered the dolphins. He even joked/bragged that he should be a dolphin dentist because one of the dolphins did indeed try to bite/eat his GoPro. This upset me, and did NOT at all make me want to buy the product.
He made many references to taking all these videos of exotic places and venues, which seemed very braggish. I noticed that Carrie (who we absolutely love to watch) tried to make the camera more accessible and practical. Carrie was pleasant, but the guy was someone I feel was not professional or a good salesperson at all.
I normally don’t chat on the forums, or post things like this, but this just really upset me, and I felt HSN should know that things like this DO NOT SELL PRODUCTS.
I agree with your shock at this guy’s insensitivy and knucklbrain actions. But do you really think hsn actually cares? As you long as you buy their products they are happy.
Have you complained to PETA (People for the Ethical Treament of Animals)? I’m sure they would love to know about this idiot.
Carlos, fantastic. I agree with you on that brand of yogurt, ha! What’s the amount on your serving of fruit? Fresh, frozen?
