Why should I have to call Commenity Bank to get my question answered?
This is in response to Kim’s answer to my question regarding the new return policy starting February 1. If customer service doesn’t know an answer to a question they should get the answer for you, not tell you to call the bank. I asked if the first 6 easy returns with label made in a calendar year which $5 spendable ka$h applies to returns for damaged goods?
Thank you Miss Anthrope. It’s apparent you clearly understood the situation .
This is clearly NOT HSN’s responsibility as this is a promotion from the credit card. The fact that the card can only be used at HSN is besides the point; it is administered by a separate financial institution.
This is not different than credit cards which offer promotion rewards points for shopping here or places like Ebates which provide a refund incentive. In all cases, it is the credit card or refunder running the promotion, and only they can answer the questions — not HSN.
Wanting HSN to answer the question because one is unwilling or unable to contact the bank himself, besides being lazy, puts HSN in a position of being responsible for promotional terms over which they have no control. In a case like this, if they answer incorrectly or provide information which is slightly off, they open themselves up to liability.
No, it is time to be a grown up and hand one’s own financial affairs personally. Just as I would not expect Target to explain why I did not get rewards points from a purchase made there with my Amex card, I would not expect HSN to provide information to me adbout a promotion with the HSN card.
I would think one could call the bank and get an answer much quicker than posting here since they are the one offering the promotion to card holders. No different than paying the bill to them rather than to HSN.
, I was able to find out that it would not apply for damaged returns. Probably best to contact Customer Service and report the item damaged before returning. Remember you shouldn’t be charged to use the return label if the item is damaged.
, I’m very sorry but this is a Comenity Capital Bank promotion. I was not able to locate any information regarding this promotion. Please contact Comenity Capital Bank at 1-888-724-6649 between the hours of 8am-1am EST for clarification on this.

Hi, Bassetbabe! So nice to see you! 🙂 I hope Rhonda Shear uses this new fabric again but with much larger "cups" and more spandex!! Yes, you and I are about to get very wet. I hope you stay dry. I thought of you when I recently got out my AJ boots again for the winter months. They are still "in style"! Take good care, Bassetbabe!
