Why Does My Avatar Show Up As Signed In Always?
No matter which browser I use,I can log out and my avatar pic never goes away ,looking like I am always signed in.I have deleted temps, cookies, even run CCleaner.I can cut computer, off, back on and it is still there.
I can come back hours later and avatar to the left is still showing, making it look like I never signed out.I can try to play games or post and it tells me to sign in so that worries me that my HSN account is always logged in.
Please help.It is making me not want to log in anymore.
Even after logging out avatars still show on the who’s online for almost a half hour. It must be a timeout thing.
, your Avatar will remain on earlier posts you made even after you sign out. If you are unable to post or play games without signing in, then you are not signed in.
stormygirl I am so sorry to read of your health issues. You are so right about paying attention to small things. When my husband became ill it totally changed what was important to me.It never occurs to me to pay much attention to what a person looks like.He looked nothing like the person I married when he passed away.Days and hours and minutes became important and all the trivial things meant nothing.People have become so cruel to others just because they can it seems.I have never figured out what they get from being mean to others. Its much easier to be good to people.I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day and I will be thinking of you.
STORMYGIRL—————————–:heart::heart::heart::heart: TRUE SPOKEN WISDOM!!! YOU ARE IN MY PRAYER’S!
Ditto on that. I dont know, maybe its because im figting for my life and am losing that fight or maybe its because I dont notice the shallow things in life, including program hosts as I obviously have much more on my mind as of late……….I just dont see how anyone can make comments about a host appearance, voice etc.. to be honest I do not pay much atttention to them or just enjoy or tune out. Before the anonymous protected days of the internet I was young, made a rude statement I totally regretted because I had no idea what was going on in that persons personal life………I could have crawled under a rock when I found out they were battling with illness.. Anyway I learned my lesson, publically apologoized and NEVER again did I make a comment or give my personal opinion about the physical appearance or otherwise if negative about a person if I can totally help it…and I can. Here I am 30 plus years later battling for my own life. You should see the difference of me from a year ago……….it is totally devastating and "unfavorable" as OP put it. Thank goodness I am no TV personality LOL.Believe me is no fun looking so bad now and there is no help for me. One never knows the struggles of another. Sometimes is a Karma maybe….be careful of the things we say and do to others. Sometimes I wonder why I served for 12 years or for WHAT?. Women have become empowered…….but have also become rude, overly-opinionated to the point of critical, and downright mean to each other. Please lets be more gentle and understanding upon making threads as one comment can potentially destroy a person. Now comments about a product is a totally different animal entirely and the bad and the good is expected……without filter or resorting to attacks on persons looks etc.The internet has become a faceless battleground of opinions and says alot about us as a country and as women. I want to watch the upcoming program called "The Internet Destroyed my Life" if I am able.
