WAITING FOR A REFUND FOR 5 MONTHS NOW. UNACCEPTABLE
We placed an order way back in March or April with HSN for a dishwasher, because ours appeared to be broken. My husband was at work and gave me the okay to order a new one. Long story short….he gets home checks it out. It’s okay. We call HSN NOT MORE THAN 3 hrs FROM WHEN THE ORDER WAS ORIGINALLY PLACED AND WERE TOLD WE COULD NOT CANCEL. OUR ONLY OPTION WAS TO WAIT FOR DELIVERY THEN DECLINE DELIVERY WHEN WASHER GOT HERE. WANNA GUESS WHEN THAT WAS???
YEP. THEY DELIVERED TO US THE END OF MAY. NOT TOO BAD. THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE. OUR CREDIT CARD IS BEING CHARGED FOR THE PAST FIVE MONTHS FOR AN ITEM WE TRIED TO CANCEL. I’M DISABLED REALLY BAD AND RELY ON MY HOME SHOPPING CARDS AS THEY MAKE LIFE A LITTLE EASIER FOR ME AS I FIGHT A TERRIBLE DISEASE. I CAN’T WALK VERY WELL.
I HAVE WORKED MY WHOLE LIFE IN RETAIL AND WENT OUT ON DISABILITY…. WE WOULD NEVER IN ANY OF THE ESTABLISHMENTS I’VE WORKED IN TREAT THE CUSTOMER LIKE THIS. I GO TO CHECK MY ACCOUNT AND I FEEL LIKE THE ONE THAT DID SOMETHING WRONG. WE ARE LOCKED OUT. NOT FAIR HSN. SHAME ON YOU FOR MAKING US WAIT TO GET CREDITED BACK OUR MONIES ON OUR HSN CREDIT ACCOUNT I’m praying we don’t have to bring in a lawyer. Just to straighten this out.

I truly hope you get your refund and you are right it is UNACCEPTABLE…Its way beyond UNACCEPTABLE Even worse that it ties up much needed funds from your limited monthly income.
I don’t know the full details but there is no excuse that justifies a refund taking this long.Apparently it was hauled back to the company using a mule and wagon if they are just now getting it back.I would have been filing complaints and consulting a lawyer long before now.Remember that first consultation is free and you can get good advise and maybe even the form letter requesting your refund in a reasonable amount of time sent for little to nothing.Five months is NOT reasonable regardless of the excuse.
Any company needs to allow at least 24 hours to cancel an item such as this to start with.Pi$$es me to no end when a company slaps the order in the system instantly when they know you will be waiting for weeks for the thing to even ship,then scream it can not be cancelled.Good luck getting the refund.
Maybe now that you posted it here you will actually get some help.
Seriously? We’ve been being told this over and over again. I’d love to know why too we are being charged for an item were DONT HAVE!!!!!!!

Hello , I’m sorry you’ve had this experience. I’ve reviewed the package information and see it was received back at our partner’s warehouse on 8/1. If you do not see the refund appear on your account by 8/9, please post back and let us know. We must allow 8 days for the return to process and the credit to be issued.
