UPS My Choice delivery options restricted by HSN–please change this.
I am a UPS Premium Choice member. I pay an annual fee to be able to manage my deliveries. I receive packages from many different vendors. I need to be able to have delivery options because of the extreme heat in Arizona where I live, the unreliability of the UPS driver regarding the delivery times and that I am not always in town. I have written to HSN and UPS as well as spoken to customer service agents at HSN and UPS. Nothing has changed.
Delivery options for My Choice are:
1. Have package delivered to a UPS store. You need have a government issued ID to pick up the package.
2. Have the package delivered on another day. Also very secure.
HSN is the only vendor/shipper that does not allow the UPS My Choice member to have these options. I will be cutting back my ordering from HS as there is nothing in those choices that jepardizes the merchandise in any way. In fact, it makes the deliveries much more secure and I need to be able manage how these packages are delivered to me . Please help.
With the My Choice you need to wait to get the tracking number and that it is on the way. Only then can you change. I have never been able to do it because I refuse to pay for the upgrade with UPS to have that option. Another problem is that they will tell you it is coming by UPS and it is not! It is coming Sure Mail and that you can do nothing about. I also live in Az and if some items are left in my mail box (assigned and outside in the HOT sun) they will rot, like polish. So when I know it is at the Post Office I run over there and demand (niecly) to please just give me my package they do. I also helps to keep the delivery person honest. When I frist did this she told me it was’t there. I insistd that online it was stated it was, second look, oh, dear your correct. Yeah right. I feel for you as getting my packages are also important to me. Unlike you, my UPS guy comes everyday into my area at the same time so I see his big truck go pass. He knows to just stop and drop but SURE mail, that is a poor excuse for mail delivery. Good Luck
I’d like to know a lil more about UPS CHOICES & HSN Delivery options I may not be aware of. I’m in Michigan have had ALL pkg thru UPS for 4yrs wProblems bt 2 yrs ago my driver set it up for Signature only, it wz Great as I live in Urban city & previously UPS Without my permission was leaving my pkgs at neighbors home i knew NOTHING About & of Course pkgs especially @xmas & many came up missing! I had no way of knowing if Id got a pkg & UPS Drivers are suppose to make 3 del attempts on diff. days bt UPS Is getting RUDE &DECEPTIVE &whn I complained Mysteriously my "signature instructions thru UPS" Disappears, I wz called a Liar. Whn I spoke wHSN I couldn’t get any help with "request for delivery signature" & Now they’re delivered by either UPS or UPS Post Office & Iv had 3 Damaged/Tampered pkgs to the point (HSN refused to redeliver & replace my KORRES product after 2 Damaged pkgs a 3rd time)they had 2B returned, NO fault of mine! If "somethg doesn’t change" with Delivery & UPS &POST AL Service I will have to stop my online/phone shopping!!! & I LOVE shopping thz way thru a site that provides Quality products, FLEX-PAY & EASY Way for Me to Buy thgs for GIFTS & FAMILY WITHOUT the CREDIT CARD Trap & INTEREST. A week or so after posting this thread, instead of helping to ease the delivery process for the UPS Choice subscriber by allowing the same delivery options as all other companies that I deal with for online shopping, HSN has now COMPLETELY restricted all date/delivery options for their customers. There are no choices for customers. Totally do not understand but now I buy far less as deliveries that could be much more secure are hindered by HSN. This makes absolultely no sense.
I too have requested numerous times to customer service, that I needed all items to ship via UPS as opposed to SMARTEST (postal service). Requests are ignored, very rarely do I receive anything UPS unless I order it express shipping which means shelling out more dough. No happy.
Erica–this isn’t feedback. This is a plea for help. As I stated, HSN is the only vendor that restricts these options. I posted this here for help.
I’m sorry the delivery options you prefer are not currently available. I completely understand the need to control your delivery options. Thank you for providing your feedback.
