Unable to Post Review?
I have shopped at HSN for many years and have only occasionally returned items. Recently I returned the Joy Mangano Miracle Mop and an additional mophead. I wanted to post a review on the items as I felt strongly enough that I had important feedback. To my surprise, since the item was returned, I was no longer able to post a review. I did not post a review before I returned the item as I also wanted to evaluate the return process. I am very disappointed in HSN. Does this make sense? I would think that this policy artifically elevates ratings as you are excluding a feedback from an important segment of customers.
Received this Fragrance and it is delicous! Not heavy, too sweet, flowery, smells clean.
Okay, Macie412…I am totally taking your word for it! 😉
I like my fragrence clean and it was only $12 at my door with the 25% off coupon — $7 for the set and $5 for shipping. Normally, it would kill me to spend nearly 100% more on shipping but given the crazy bargain that it is, I figured I could live with it! I’ll let you know how it goes!
I just got the fragrance and body wash and OH MY! It’s fabulous, especially for the price. I am going to buy a few more as gifts! THANK YOU!! GREAT FIND!
You married him? If so how sweet.
Hi , we accept reviews even when items have been returned. Although, I cannot check the specific reason you were not able to post your review, more information on the review process can be found in the FAQ‘s.
For the past year you can no longer review a returned product once it is received back by HSN. The system will allow reviews while in transit. It doesn’t matter what the reason is for the return.
This company makes the review process difficult and, to me, it’s a bit questionable. The fact that you cannot review an item for 5 days is absurd. The reason given – that they want you to use the item – is ridiculous. I believe they want to discourage people from writing reviews. And then they list their reviews automatically ranked highest to lowest – not in date order. The whole process seems wrong to me.
I also found that once you return an item you are unable to review it. I guess hsn feels it will keep the ratings higher which isn’t right.
