The lack of quality of this forum
Who is in charge of this forum? The coding of it. This forum appears to be run by a 13 year old. We have been complaining about this in the arcade for the past year. Suggestions I’ve made have been implemented, but it is still so user unfriendly, something needs to be done.
We would like an answer. Can HSN not afford to pay for a real web site development company?
I completely understand your frustration. We are cataloging the community’s feedback and taking an account for new implementations. Its understandable that some of the changes maybe hard to get use to but, rest assure the IT Team is working on developing an enjoyable, user-friendly and interactive community forum. We greatly appreciate the time you all take to spend in our Community and Arcade, and will be sure to pass this concern on to our Leadership Team.
Cataloging the feedback???? Have you looked at the 600+ posts on the thread that was conveniently closed after the first month? The majority of the posts were pretty detailed. Here’s some highlights: displaying the most current poster’s name not the OP, the editor (tool bar) allowing font sizes, colors, emojis, fonts stye, etc, private messaging, smile or heart to acknowledge that you have read a post. These are just a few. I would be happy to copy one of my lengthy, detailed posts from that thread. I mean come on, the sort feature to display the order of posts has always been there just not visible to people without admin or moderator privileges. It took 10 months for the administrator to allow us to sort the order of posts? This option is standard on all forum formats.
So, what happened? Did they really give the forum to someone’s kid to develop? We all have never seen anything this bad and it’s still not fixed after a year. These are NO BRAINER things for people that know what they are doing. I know, I was in the business. You only have to look back in the arcade when the changes were made to see the feedback on the problems, which were never addressed.
And thank you for addressing them now, although it’s a year late. but that’s not your fault.
