Thank you customer service!
I just wanted to give a special "thank you" to customer service. I’ve been an HSN shopper for years. I had an issue with an item and called customer service today. The representative I spoke with was very courteous and very helpful in getting my issue resolved. I have always been treated with respect any time I’ve spoken to a customer service representative and today was no exception. "Hats off" to HSN customer service!
Re: Customer Service

That’s awesome ! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
This week got a ring (in the little blue box of bling), was expecting it in the blue and white envelope, but it came in a box 9x6x3.
And got the ped egg platinum in it’s own packing box 6 1/2 x2 1/2 x 2 1/2.
Funny no consistency!! But they did get here ok, no problems.
I’m really pleased to see many people commented on the lousy packaging. i’ve called numerous times on this, and i can tell the powers that be are doing nothing to rectify this problem. the worst place is
Tennesse. real bad taping, crummy boxes, gauges in the boxes. ups and usps are at fault also because they don’t care. a supervisor tried to tell me a machine does the taping. lol i also agree about the shipping charges. the consumer gets stuck paying more espically if you have to return a product. enough said hopefully something will be done about it, but i doubt it will happen, because no one at HSN cares
You can see, this box was not sealed.
This is the end of the tape…and it came this way…I haven’t touched it…it’s loose.
This is what it looked like inside…6 packing pillows…plain brown box…(and my invoice) All this for what’s inside the brown box…
THIS is what was in the box…That was not sealed to start with…and NEEDED packing pillows…
IMO…the outer box was a waste and the packing pillows were a waste.. The packing label could have been placed on the inner box and shipped. How the outer box didn’t come open I don’t know. This was heavy. But the outer box has HSN’s logo all over it…could you just put some HSN stickers on it? This was a waste.
At least the shipping is free right now on this item. But it’s still a waste of materials.
Please read my comments earlier this date. I really wanted to make a purchase today but I just could not bring myself to pay almost $22.00 for shipping 6 Rhonda Shear wraps. Ridiculous to pay separate shipping costs for the same items (different colors) that could be shipped together. Takes away from the whole idea that you are getting a deal with the tops being on sale for $10.00 less today. Disappointed.
Do we really expect HSN to save time and money on shipping multiple orders in many packages. Sorry no. They make money on the shipping…….Ronnie
I wish HSN would take a tip from the other channel and lower shipping charges to one flat rate of 3 bucks for small items and 5 bucks for larger items . I would order even more items . Clearance items should never have a shipping charge in my op . My last purchase arrive with a tape warning related to the box damage . I am not happy when the shipping switch from UPS to the post office after paying a expensive shipping charge . I will continue to love and shop on HSN after 30 plus years , but it would nice if the big boss LOL listen to our concerns and made a few changes . TIA
My packaging frustration is the large box with one little strip of tape to hold it together. By the time my package is delivered, there are usually open gaps in the seam, if not a completely open section of the outer box. Thankfully, I’ve never had missing items, but you would think if you are going to invest in large sturdy boxes that you could put enough tape on the hold it together.
I ordered 3 rings, one order…they all came in one bag…a small bag. 5×7? There needs to be more use of the bags…I got a HUGE box with one small box inside and lots of packing air pillows inside…totally unnecessary. Some sort of uniformity would be nice. Other shopping channels slap shipping stickers on the item boxes and ship those…no double boxes. I can do without HSN boxes…does UPS and the PO really need to do advertising for HSN?
Well, I am all for recycling and re-using when possible, but guys… you have to admit. You would be UPSET BEYOND BELIEF if you got your merchandise in obviously used, dirty, taped and re-taped box; wrapped in pieces of used bubble wrap and reused plastic bags. I know I would be.
Skittles, I am not sure why delivery service did not leave your hat at the door. I have never had to go to the post office to pick up my stuff. BUT… would you rather your hat be stuffed in padded envelope or rolled in a tube, just to save a few bucks and materials??
I think the most reasonable solution is to ship everything ordered in one day in ONE BOX and pay ONE SHIPPING CHARGE. It should not be a "SPECIAL JEWELRY or FASHION DAY", it should be everyday. There might be something extra-bulky, like a TV or furniture – that should have a separate shipping charge. But jewelry and clothes CAN and SHOULD be packaged together when possible.
Shipping charges are higher but I don’t see taxes added like competition does, so it breaks even or is cheaper than competition!!
Last year, I ordered a hat from HSN. I received a notice in my mailbox from the post office that I had a package to pick up.
Since they are only open from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., I had to take time off from work to go the post office.
The box was ginormous!
Postmaster: What is in the box?
Me: It is a hat.
Postmaster: You are kidding?
Me: No. :womanembarrassed:
Postmaster: Well, it is light as a feather. :womanfrustrated:
Inside this ginormous box was a small box with my hat. :womanfrustrated:
This small box could have easily fit into a box where all the mail boxes are located. I should not have to take time off from work for this type of product delivery.
I just don’t understand why HSN usually charges $6.95 for an item that is sent by USPS in a bag.
The other shopping channel has reduced most of their shipping to $3.00!
What’s up with that???
When I do receive my order in a box, I always black-out my name/address and it goes into the recycling bin.
PLEASE lower your shipping fees.
I have figured that many things come from different warehouses, even if it’s the same type of merch. Watch to see what cities and states they are shipped from.
Now tomorrow I have coming in the same shipment (same shipping number) (and have never seen this before) Concierge Mens robe $4.95 shipping and the Labelle Ultrasonic Skin Scrubber free shipping.
But it does seem like they could combine more shipments and shipping charges. But that’s one way they make money.
