Why would an Elysee package go from Piney Flats, TN out to California when being sent to a NY address? This has happened before with Elysee and the packages take a long time to arrive. I’m wondering if Elysee does manufacturing somewhere other than Wisconsin.

Bobzi, Hi, Sounds like your pkg got sorted incorrectly as your pkg should have then went to the Bristol VA hub and then moved forward to your home. It should have never went to Cali. Sometimes things get sorted incorrectly & put on the wrong truck. This is not HSN’s fault. I have some very close friends that work for UPS so I have learned a lot about logistics. Sadly if one of the package handlers doesn’t sort correctly this can cause the error or if there is a jam up of packages on the conveyor belt this can also cause issues & cause a box to not be put on the correct tractor trailer in the hub for transport to the next hub. Your pkg should have moved North then after it would have arrived in Bristol VA. Not sure where you live but that is how my pkgs ship. They move up North & then come back down on I81 to a Maryland hub (no, I don’t live in Maryland) I just know logistics & then the truck goes to a hub in Maryland & unloads again. Hope this helps, I know it is discouraging, I had it happen the other year. A package of mine actually got loaded incorrectly into a truck (smaller than tractor trailer) & got lost in a Macy’s distribution center. It hasn’t been found yet as I know of & probably won’t until someone pulls that skid out and finds sets of Joy’s hangers loaded in with whatever is on their Macy’s skid.
@bobzi, I’m not exactly sure why the package would do that however I do know that UPS directs packages to certain hubs which would route the packages to the proper destination hubs for delivery. They may not be set up to have packages sent directly to their NY hub from TN which could explain the routing to CA first. The package also may have been sorted incorrectly and loaded onto the wrong truck. If the package doesn’t arrive to you by your expected delivery date of the 23rd, please let us know!
