Shipment transferred from UPS to USPS?
Please explain why a shipment would be transferred from UPS to USPS, which slows down delivery. My package arrived in Mesquite, TX, a suburb of Dallas, on 9/21. That is a 30 minute drive from my house. Instead of being delievered to me the next day, it was taken to the USPS in Dallas. This package could have been in my hands yesterday but is now routed through Dallas proper and the USPS is NOT known for expedient delivery of anything. I am so disappointed that I will not get this package in time for a trip. The estimated delivery date is today, but once in the hands of the USPS, packages rarely arrive on time. I don’t understand why HSN would use this method for shipping anything and look forward to learning why this transfer happens.
Purchased the Twiggy poncho in Ivory. On Sept. 15 I received email letting me know UPS was in area and would deliver. After three calls to an "Agent", they said UPS must have lost it, as of Sept 23. I was asked if I wanted wait list, they meant a return that would be sent to me, ie, NOT new. Cancelled item. Very disappointed with HSN. My poncho is lost in UPS warehouse 2 miles from my home. HSN couldn’t fix this? So frustrated.
msmck, your package was shipped Sure Post. We’ve been using Sure Post for packages between 1-10 lbs since 1/5/11. Once the packages are delivered to the USPS, they are supposed to be delivered to the customer the following day. Please let me know if this does not arrive by the end of today.
Hi jazzy333, the first issue of a magazine subscription can take 6 to 8 weeks to be delivered from the original order date. If you’d like me to check your order, just let me know the item number that included the free subscription.
