Samantha Brown Luggage==Not recommended.
The luggage lining, which is a maroon print on a gold background, imprinted on to my white vest. My vest clearly has the maroon print on it. The vest was new and luggage had just been used once before. HSN customer service has not returned my phone calls nor can I find a way to reach Samantha Brown, or the luggage manufacturer.
So nice that HSN Moderator Jordan responded, and again good luck with resolving this very unfortunate defective Samantha Brown luggage merchandise dilemma and highly unacceptable and unfortunate damage to your personal white vest clothing from Samantha Brown’s defective luggage paint color which left its imprint on your white vest.
As an HSN Member and Consumer I also believe in all true fairness that in view of the defective HSN Samantha Brown luggage which left its maroon colored imprint on your white vest, which resulted in complete damage, the price you paid for your white vest should also be refunded back to you, in addition to a full HSN refund of the HSN damaged defective luggage set purchase price also refunded in full with no deductions taken out whatsoever for the defective HSN merchandise return.
That Samantha Brown HSN luggage merchandise sold to you was definitely defective, and should have never left quality control inspection for sale to any HSN Consumer, because it was defective and still sold to you and was responsible for the damage it caused to your white vest clothing as well.
“All luggage sold to the general public should be inspected by Quality Control for color fast safeguards and should still remain totally color fast to handle in all kinds of wet travel conditions, especially when the merchandise is luggage which is used to travel with and also store items in at home and coming into contact with other items in and outside of your residence.
The luggage should always remain color fast and safe to handle even in rain and snow travel conditions, because the color should be stead fast and not bleed or smudge off at all, and most certainly not damage any other item it touches.
Before I buy anything I contact HSN Customer Service thru the HSN community Board if I’m unsure about something I wish to purchase from HSN, and ask questions…..l
Examples of questions I may ask are:
Does this HSN item come with a Manufacturer’s Warranty, and if yes for how long is the warranty in effect?
Is there a telephone # to reach the Vendor’s Manufacturer and if permissible also reach the designer of the item by telephone or on their web site by email, and do they respond to emails, because many do not…, in case of a problem when item is received?
Lastly I always ensure to ask if both of the HSN EZ UPS and USPS return shipping prepaid labels are included in the box, with the item when it is delivered as they usually are?
I never purchase without an HSN EZ return label……and UPS is easiest for me as all I have to do is hand the item to my UPS Carrier who delivers UPS packages daily to me, and he scans it into his UPS scanning device, and returns it to UPS so they can ship it to the UPS HSN prepaid label return address I affixed to the HSN delivery return cardboard package.
If the item arrived defective then I would definitely contact HSN C.S., and apprise them that no deductions should be charged for the defective item when it is returned, and I should receive a full refund back to my preferred method of payment and let them know what that is.
Hope this helps in future because it is a shame that you received defective used merchandise, and if oyu are within your 30 day HSN trial period, then just contact HSN, or use the prepaid labels if they came with the item, but knowing HSN they should respond to your post on this thread since you are posting on their HSN Community Customer Service Forum Board, and they should reply to all HSN.com inquiries made by their HSN members requiring their HSN C.S. help and dilemma refund return resolution using their HSN.Com Community forums.
Good luck and I will check back to read continued replies and hope you receive the help you require provided you are still within your 30 day return time frame, but if that time frame has expired then ask your questions about telephone contact for vendor Samantha Brown, and Manufacturer’s Warranty telephone # so you can get help from them if need be, and you are past your 30 day HSN return time frame.
Good luck, and I hope the information I posted helps you, and you do receive proper HSN C>S>, Designer/Vendor contact information and replies.
