Rewards Store sweepstakes missing
Last Friday I reported directly to the Arcade Team that the rewards in the Rewards Store, except for the GOTW, were scheduled to expire at noon today instead of at midnight tonight like they usually do. I never got a response.
Forgetting about the time difference, I just went in to make my final entries only to discover the sweepstakes were all closed.
This error in ending times happened last week but they finally got the closing time changed to midnight Thursday on Wednesday last week.
I work very hard at trying to present an optimistic outlook in the Community where so many are constantly complaining; but I have to tell you, HSN is not making it easy. It’s more and more obvious that the Arcade and the attached activities are an afterthought. The continual mess ups on the Trivia (and now continual rehashing of the same questions) do not make a good impression. I understand that mistakes are made, but it doesn’t seem that HSN learns from its mistakes. When I post to Customer Service about problems with things related to the Arcade, they seem to be a last priority for CS. Even when I see CS on the forums (which has been less and less lately) I do not get timely responses to my posts. That’s why I’ve taken to contacting the Arcade Team directly. I’m assuming at this point that the person I’ve been dealing with on the Arcade Team is on vacation because I always get a quick response from them.
I understand that Customer Service is now focusing on other social media, but there are some of us who choose not to use those means of communication due to privacy concerns. Many of the people who now post in the Community feel the same way.
Thanks for responding, Jordan. I suspected it was too late to fix the Rewards for this week. The point I really would like to make is if HSN decides to make changes (not have trivia, change how the Rewards store works, etc.), please communicate those changes publicly in the Community here. Otherwise, I just assume it’s a glitch and report it. I’d like to be responded to, even if it’s just to say, “you’re right, it’s a glitch and we’re working on it.”
Lizzie, I am sorry for the Arcade experience you and others have had. Unfortunately, we’re unable to restore this week’s sweepstakes. We know there are process improvement opportunities and we are working to not only get back to the Arcade experience you once loved, but make it even better.
