Returning an item but box it arrived in was damaged and unable to use for returning.
When item # xxxxxxxxxx Crosley Director 8-in-1 Vinyl Turntable with CD Recorder was delivered the box it came in was damaged. I took the item out and even though the box it was delivered in was damaged the item itself appeared not to be. I wrapped it and gave to my mother who upon putting it together and trying to use it discovered that the lid did not close right along with a few other things.
My problem is that when returning an item it always says to return it exactly as it was delivered. Unfortunately, due to the box being damaged so badly, I threw the box out. Now I am unsure how to go about returning it. My mother put everything back in the box so all the parts are there. Seeing as it is a rather large box, I am unsure that I can find a box big enough to put the other box inside.
So I am enquiring as to what I should do so that I can return the Crosley Director 8-in-1 Vinyl Turntable with CD Recorder to you? I would appreciate any information or assistance you can give me.
Thank you very much,
