Refund for Allure Magazine/Serious Skin Care TS July 26
I purchased the SSC TS on July 26 with the understanding that a refund for the magazine was available. On July 27 I mailed a copy of my purchase confirmation and the required form noted "MAGAZINE REFUND" as instructed to CONDE NAST SPECIAL PROGRAM – HSN. I have still not received the $8.00 refund. What do I need to do to get a refund on a something I was forced to purchase?

Now I’m wondering why I was not offered any help from HSN customer service. I was given the wrong phone number the first time and then when I got the correct phone number for Allure they didn’t know anything about HSN refunds but as "goodwill" they would refund the $8.00. I received $3.20. Is HSN going to CREDIT the difference to my account?

Ok now I’m getting the runaround like Wingnut09.
I mailed in the purchase confirmation and wrote MAGAZINE REFUND as the instructions said, and mailed in 8/5/15.
I just talked to Allure Magazine at 1-800-678-1825 and they don’t issue refunds…the refund has to come from HSN.
So I called HSN cust service a couple minutes ago, and they don’t issue refunds either. I have to mail in the card..I think they’re a little behind the times since you don’t mail a card anymore, you print out the copy online.
So now what? Allure doesn’t have me listed for Allure so apparently I won’t be getting that magazine YET but I also won’t be getting my refund for the Serious Skincare. They do have me listed for Glamour magazine that I got stuck with.
HSN rep says keep calling Allure. How many times do I have to call them? Why is this so difficult? This should be easier to handle than this. I should not be getting the runaround. Somebody has got to know what’s going on.
Help me out here please.

I sent for my refund on 8/5/15. That is 6 weeks. Any idea when I might be getting it?
UPDATE: I received my refund check today but it was for $3.20 NOT $8.00. I will NEVER again purchase a TSV that forces me into a magazine subscription. Why do I have to pay for something I DIDN’T WANT?????
I just checked the refund details and it is written purchase confirmation. I do hope you receive your refund. I always thought it was the package order form. So far I never had a problem getting a refund that way.
Wing nut09, you said you mailed a copy of the purchase a day after the SSC TSV. I’m wondering if you needed to mail out a copy of the order purchase that comes with your package along with refund form. That way they know you purchased the item.
wingnut09, I’m sorry you haven’t received your refund for the magazine yet. Please contact Allure At 1-800-678-1825. They’re open Monday-Friday between 7am and 11pm EST.
Groan, herndon, you were in that box too long. LOL. Get out and run around in the yard!!! and stay clear of the flowers and shrubs, if you know what I mean.
