I bought an Elite 3.5 quart oil free digital fryer and when Im opened the box found that it is smeared with grease and there are chips in the finish. I find it unacceptable to sell used merchandice as new and now I will be out the return shipping fees because I will not keep it. This is the second order in a row that I have had a problem with. What is happening to HSN?
Please share which publication released the latest paraben research.
The absolute most valid research on parabens just came out. They are more dangerous than we thought, especially because they mix with other chemicals to enhance the estrogenic effects. The teprenone she is putting in her Fountain of Youth line is an ulcer medication and is dangerous with no research showing it works on skin. While she does have some good ingredients, the false claims with no scientific proof are not worth the risks. If someone says they don’t mind parabens because they don’t want bacteria in their creams, then how come so many other companies are ditching the parabens and they still have good products? That is not a valid argument.
, I’m very sorry to hear your recent order arrived in that condition. Please use the EZ Return Label included with your order to return the item at no cost to you. You’ll get a full refund once we get the item back in stock.
I went ahead and ordered. I didn’t auto ship just in case I didn’t like the products.
So, I was watching earlier, and Linda said that she’s never had work done. I don’t know how she can say that. She has those pulls on the side of her mouth. I think she looks great, but I don’t understand why they deny having any work done. The lady is 74 years old. Certainly we’re not going to hold it against her if she says she’s had some work done in the past.
I was wondering same thing. While Im not obsessed with the paraben controversy and I also dont take the word of any single "expert"who also sells skincare as my only resource… I do sometimes opt for the benefits of the preservatives but am going more natural as of lately for a change….. just a personal thing. I also see there is a few products in the TS with the additional load of Urea, PEGs, Polyethelene Glycol. Butalene Glycol, Alcohol, Dimethicone,(silicone) along with the several parabens. Is all that really necessary I wonder?? Oven cleaner has PEG too…..I have not decided on trying yet but I want to LOL. Ultimately is up to the consumer to decide what they want to use and what they do not accept. .. I dont peronally mind a few parabens but the rest? Im not 100% sure. I do want to try this line as it sounds good. Sigh I am not sure yet LOL. Up to the individual as HSN does list the ingrediant deck. Is not just the parabens to research….is the other stuff too.
According to the American Cancer Society, "studies have not shown any direct link between parabens and any health problems, including breast cancer."
I would rather have parabens in my products than bacteria. Parabens have stood the test of time as a preservative.
I used to worry about that as well but then I visited the Paula’s Choice website and did a little reading there. She gathers all of the current information about chemicals that are in cosmetics (hence her name "cosmetics cop") and she puts all of that information there on her website for all to read.
Look up "Parabens are they really a problem" there and read what she has found. Then decide what you think.
Off subject a little…
I also worried about the sulfates that go into the shampoos that we buy and almost went on board with the rest of the trendy thinking and thought for a while that I needed to never use sulfates in anything. Well, that is not correct either. So, sometimes the nature inspired folks are NOT right.
🙂 Go with the reasearch, not the trends.
