Problem with item.
Hello – I hate to be a problem, but I received my order today of item # 598-075, the Crafter’s Companion Chloe Layered Flower Stamp and Die Set, and unfortunately there is a problem.
On one side of the stamp, there is a “kink” or pucker in the acrylic which causes the image to stamp improperly/crooked. I really *really* love this set and would like to see if it would be possible to exchange it in the hopes of getting one which isn’t defective, but I’m not entirely sure how to do so as I used both a coupon and Spendable Ka$h on the order. Therefore, my usual method of just returning the defective item and ordering a new one isn’t an option as that would cost me $28.45 rather than the $8.46 I originally paid.
Can you please advise? Thank you so, so much!
*Hopefully my picture does a better job of explaining my problem than my description did. LOL. I promise, the paper is completely flat/smooth. The stamp’s defect is what caused the optical illusion warping.
@seanchai, I’ve set you up to have a replacement sent out for the kit. Go ahead and return the original one back to us using the EZ Return Label. Due to the damage, the return shipping would be free of charge. Your replacement kit should be to you no later than 06/25/2018.
Thank you so much, Kyle! I honestly wasn’t sure what to do in this sort of situation. I really appreciate the help. Just one other question: What do I need to mark down on my return slip as the Action Code? Exchange? Don’t want to confuse the warehouse workers and have them send out a third set. 😮
You’re welcome, @seanchai. You can still mark it down as an exchange on your return paperwork. The warehouse will see the item has already been exchanged upon receiving it back and will simply check it in as returned.
Fantastic – thank you again!
