Price Adjustment Help
Two days ago I purchased the Sharif Tapestry bag online for $79.99. Today I received an alert that the price had dropped to $59.99. I immediately sent an email to customer service asking for a price adjustment. I watched the airing today with Bobbie Ray Carter and it aired for $59.99. The bag sold out quickly. As soon as Bobbie’s show was over the price went up to $99.99. Then I received an email response from Susan in customer service telling me they couldn’t adjust my order because the price was more than what I paid. The order hasn’t shipped yet. Please advise. Thank you.
When I received the price alert I considered that maybe I should buy another purse at the $59 price and return the one I purchased 2 days ealier since it was too late to cancel the order. Then I thought I could ask for a price adjustment at the time since it was the lower price when I sent the email to customer service. Maybe I should have called customer service instead of emailed. Not sure if that would have made a difference. But I guess I thought wrong about the HSN price guarantee. I am a seasoned HSN shopper and I have purchased happily here for many years. Always recommend to friends and relatives. Thanks for your help anyway. I guess I learned a lesson from this on future orders and I shouldn’t order ahead of the show but I knew that Sharif purse would be very popular so I wanted to make sure I ordered before it aired. I’ve collected Sharif for a long time and I was hoping to see him on air today but Bobbi said he was ill. I wish him well. And you too. Thanks

For all we know HSN and JOY could be “grooming” the children to run the JOY company at some point in time.
