Panasonic phone system Item #439-439 Questions
Stu-pid (that would be me)..is back.
When answering from anyone of the handsets or base..If 2 people pick up at the same time can we all hear each other at the same time without pressing anything?
Example: My kid calls..I answer..they want to ralk to Dad..If Dad just picks up another handset and presses the talk button..Can we all hear and talk to each other..without pressing anything else?..Like an old extension phone?
I have another phone system that doesn’t allow this without pressing other buttons..
I have to go downstairs to help my Honey answer from the other handset..I hate it!
I had to buy 2 seperate phone systems in order to just say:"Honey, pick up the phone"!
May sound like a dumb question to some..
All I can say to them is "Don’t get old!..LOL
Hope I explained this correctly..Thanks
4kitties, you should be able to do this by pressing the talk button. You might have to press another button if you have more than one phone line.
P.S. I would live in a trench, with spiders, before I’d relinquish my fur babies! (and I’m allergic to spiders)
Susana, true story, years ago I had been separated, and my son and I spent an afternoon with an agent looking at rental homes/condos. Nothing grabbed us, until the last one. Then the agent discovered she was in error, they didn’t accept pets after all. So she suggests to me, "Take them to a shelter. There are ‘no kill’ ones. Or you can take them outside for a walk one afternoon, and ‘lose’ them". I kid you not. She said that in front of my son. I looked at her like this….
So sorry that your babies kept you from getting the house. But glad to hear that you love them enough to not leave them behind.
Thanks so much, Susana! We may have to wind up purchasing, which we don’t want to do because my husband signed an initial two-year contract to start a new department, not join an already established one. So we feel the situation is too precarious to invest in a house until we know the program will thrive. The owner of the house we found early this month didn’t immediately tell his wife that we have cats, and when he did she "freaked out" (his words) and called things off before we signed any contract. Ah well. Watcha gonna do… ¯\_(?)_/¯ Back to the drawing board this week!
