Packaging Status – Bank says cancelled…
I just had an incident the other day where I had to place two orders again and was told my card declined. My bank says they didn’t decline the orders and the authorizations were still pending-c/s released the funds while I was on the phone.
Now I have another order and it shows cancelled in my bank activity but it shows a packaging status on HSN.
From what I can see the problem is, HSN is leaving the auth. on hold for too long and it expires. This order was placed on Monday 9/4 and I see the release as of 9/9 at 1am. I imagine that this is what happened before and that when HSN attempts to get the pre-authorized funds they won’t be able to because they were released and it will look like a decline. I am not 100% sure but that is my theory. Upset because the order was half off and now it’s the full price if I need to order again. It is going to sell out soon and I don’t want to get two of them. It is a gift -two arriving would seem crazy. Please help.

@mbaby9, sorry to hear that your original orders were cancelled out. It seems that they were cancelled out by our Verifications Department for some reason. For more info on this, you’ll need to reach out to them at 800-436-6767 (8 AM to 5 PM EST).
Oh and keep in mind the order was supposed to take 3-7 days to arrive, meaning it’s way late. As were to other orders. Fine but to also have them cancelled and starting all over again-increased wait time follows.
Also, only one email was sent last time and this time I don’t have anything. I really hope they will just charge again but I am worried they won’t. This gift will be very late-again..
Please assist me.
