Order History Removed! Only 90 day history now
I use Order History a lot & now it has been merged with Order Status. This means no history search past 90 days. I see duplicate purchases without this 2 1/2 year past search feature. I use it all the time. Bad change.
I am with everyone else on this. This is just really poor design. Forcing people to look month by month by month is idiotic. And your “search by keyword” feature still only searches the time period you have set. Not that it ever finds anything — keyword “sheets” should bring up all the sheets I’ve bought, but it brings up nothing.
Seriously HSN, your customer service has always paled in comparison with QVC, and now you want to make it even HARDER to get information?
Why would I want to continue spending my money here, if you just keep making things harder?
Hi Everyone, your one-year order history information is still available under Order Status. The default view is for the last 90 days, however, you can also search by month. If you want to see what you’ve purchased by a particular brand, use the search field to search by brand name (i.e. Anna Griffin). We can provide information for an older order if you need Proof of Purchase for insurance purposes.
If the item in your order history is still available for purchase, there will be a Write Review option on the order line. Also, if you find that there are orders missing, please let us know so that we can report the error.
We appreciate the feedback you share in the Community and we do share it with the appropriate team(s). We hope the information and tips above will be helpful to you in navigating the more streamlined view of your order history.
Dear HSN Kyle,
I can tell you do not use the feature very much if at all. If you are a crafter and buy a lot, in order for us to keep track of the many items that show up “new” or re-titled, the search feature needs to go back at least 3 years or pick up from old data. I have already duplicated 4 Anna Griffin items and the total cost of that is over $100. That is a total waste, inasmuch as I only found out after the 30 day return. Murphy’s Law is hand in hand with HSN data changers. Trying to find items by going to each month is a really REALLY bad idea by someone who does not use the system. I’ve tried to use the search feature three times and only scored twice when I had to go look on YouTube to find the item and get the title correct. Waste of my time and loss of my good thinks towards HSN.
I can see going to my local scrapbook store more often now or to Amazon (who keeps a long term record of my purchases). My scrapbook store now carries more Anna Griffin items and many other brands and I can order on line with them. I think you (HSN) have lost me. I definitely won’t be buying as much here, as much as it was convenient. ScrapbookingMadeSimple is getting more of my business as is Amazon.
I agree with everybody! Please bring Order History back completely!!!
Get this they just charged my credit card $109 dollars for an item I returned weeks ago even tho it was listed in my order history as returned. Now they’re asking me to provide proof. Like what ?? It’s in my order status as returned! DAH!! I cancelled my card and reported the charge. They took my complaint post off the main page under “ENOUGH”. And that is what I have had is ENOUGH!!!
I’ve just discovered order information no longer allows you to look up delivery information. More proof that these changes are all about HSN and not the customer.
If you want to make a helpful change, give us the opportunity to remove cancelled orders from Order history lists
OMG – Even though a drop down menu allows me to go back one year I have to choose each month by itself.
There are so many practical reasons to go back to the old way. I buy a lot of craft things. Some times I want to see, for example, all of my Anna Griffin purchases through time.
This is horrible. Recently, your competition went to allowing you to go back one or two more menus. I thought customer service was supposed to help the customer, not hurt them.
I am absolutely furious. If anything you should go back 4 or 5 months in time. What about people who have had a fire, and want to track things that go back in time. Insurance cos. make you list each item to get insurance money after a tradgedy, like fire, or tornado, or flood. It would be so helpful in these situations to at least get order cos. from companies online.
Because I am bedridden I do all of my purchases online. I could name 10 big names that keep your purchase history at least 5 or 10 years. Besides HSN still have to store all of this information for many reasons, i.e. tax purposes, at least 7 years.
I agree with everything you said! Also, it’s much easier to write reviews from the order history. More times than not it doesn’t work from the item page or reminder email.
Why were our Order Histories removed???? Order history is a more accurate list and gives much more information. Why only 90 days displayed instead of a year or two? Please don’t give us the canned answer that you have forwarded our feedback, that’s getting insulting! Most of us use Order History, not status, on a regular basis, PLEASE BRING IT BACK.
@delia15 – I appreciate your feedback regarding the change on how you see past orders and apologize the inconvenience this has caused. I’ll certainly forward your feedback on. We always provide at least 1 year from the current date to see purchased made with us. You can also look at your past orders by selecting the month that the order was placed.
I also have to complain about the removal of Order History. That is what I always use to view my orders. Why was this option removed? I do not like the display of Order Status.
