No Easy Return Label
I purchased an item that shipped directly from the supplier. Not being overly thrilled with it I checked the packing slip for a easy return label. There wasn’t one. I logged in to see if I could print one and the only option given is to pay for return shipping. I calculated the return shipping, $45.69 using USPS and UPS was only slightly cheaper. The item only cost me $55 dollars and change. I understand that the supplier may not be able to print a return label, but at least HSN could allow the customer to print one from their website considering they have a working relationship with UPS and USPS for reduced shipping charges. Am I the only who is just a little outraged by the lack of easy return labels?
I purchased an item and was not satisfied with it I decided to return it but was not provided a return label to use. The instructions indicated I could use the label but it was not provided. Cost of pro icy was $91.70 order #1664163893. It cost me $17.++ to return it. The instructions to return just gave me a return lable with from. Me to HSN only and that $6.99 would be deducted from my final bill charged. Please do not charge me (deduct return postage) for this return because I’ve paid more than required to return it. There was no return label to use.
I have also never had this issue until today. Is there a way for HSN to alert customers prior to ordering that the product will ship from an outside supplier and won’t be eligible for easy returns? I waited over a month (the Virus…I get it) to receive an item that I wanted to cancel before it even shipped (two weeks after ordering, I was able to procure the item locally.) However, it was already in the “packaging” phase, so it was too late to cancel. I figured, “No big deal. I’ll eat the 6.95 easy return fee to mail it back.” Now, I’m stuck paying over 12 bucks to ship back something that only cost 33.
I too am outraged! I never encountered this problem with QVC. Does this mean the refund comes from somewhere other than HSN. In light of this aggravating policy , I will hence forth shop elsewhere.
I’m sorry for the disappointment with the lack of a return label. Items that ship out and return to our partners warehouses are not eligible for our return label program. I can understand the desire for a return label in this situation however, and I’ll forward this feedback to our warehouse for you.
