New customer, but not for long.
As soon as my bill is paid off, I’m closing my acct with them. I recently purchased a Chromebook for my husband, it was listed as a “special buy”. I then come across it at another retailer, to find they had it on sale for $100.00 less! I went back to cancel, this was within 20 minutes of my order, only to see it say it was “processing” and I could not cancel. Well, ok $100.00 lesson learned. Then I sent back an item to them, a sewing machine that cost $79.00. I sent it back because it did not have a light, that was the biggest thing. I found a very nice Brother, that has a light and more features for $10 less! No brainer. It cost me $15 to send that thing back! They didn’t offer me a discount on my cost of returning it. Big loss for me. Then it was sent 2 day shipping (thanks to my hb not paying attn, because it cost more in shipping) and 10 days later, my acct does not show it being returned or credited to my card. I had to go through chat to get them to correct the issue. I am paying it off as quickly as possible and wiping my hands of them! :manmad:
I believe jandtsmom is mainly upset because she wasn’t able to cancel her chromebook purchase even though only 20 min. had passed since she placed the order, and also that her account wasn’t credited for the sewing machine without a hassle. Those complaints appear to me to be valid and would upset anyone.
You have 30 days to return anything you are unhappy with. You do have to pay shipping and if it is a heavy item you usually come out better by using the prepaid return label. I have been shopping with HSN for years and have never had any problems. It is a good idea to compare prices online at Amazon or Overstock before making any major purchase.

why dont you just send the chrome book back? If you use the ups label its only like 8 or 9 dollars for anything over 5 pounds and like 7ish for under 5. Whenever anything is damamged or missing parts etc…..I have always had customer service wave the return fee. Anyway sorry you have had such bad experiences. Going to the post office and returning a package on your own often cost more then using the ups label.
I am not understanding why you feel you should get a discount for your mistake of not comparing prices BEFORE ordering. You shop elsewhere and find a better deal AFTER ordering from HSN and want them to pay for the return of their merchandise because you decided you will buy it elsewhere.I highly doubt you are going to find any site that will offer that deal because they would be out of business quickly.
HSN is usually a bit higher than other places due to Flex Pay and other offers.About everyone knows this that has shopped on HSN very much. They do have deals but you have to seek them out.
So just so I understand, YOU did not comparison shop to ensure you were making good purchasing decisions, YOU did not verify features before purchasing, and YOUR husband made a mistake when shipping, but this is aell HSN’s fault?
