Ming Tsai spiralizer
I purchased the spiralizer at the hsn outlet store in Sarasota on April 3, 2018. Drove back to Ohio on April 6, went oout of town again until May 6. Decided to spiralize on May 7, plugged it in and it didn’t work. Nothing. So I read and reread instructions to no avail. I spent 20minutes on hold with ingenious designs…the manufacturer of the product and finally decided to just leave a message and email. Just like the spiralizer…nothing. No call back no email…I searched the internet for different contact numbers etc., they all lead back to joymangano.com. Great…square one. I broke down and called customer service and spent 40 minutes on hold until I finally talked to human. Who Very curtly said nope we don’t have anything to do with 3rd party sellers. What part of HSN retail store and outlet is not part of HSN? Told me the warranty is not applicable to items bought at the outlet and that should have been written on the warranty enclosed with the product. Well it wasn’t. Still insisted there was no recourse and to call outlet store itself. Which I did, and was told that there is a 30 day return policy…and that HSN RETAIL STORE AND OUTLET IS part of HSN. It’s a spiralizer…not a cure for cancer. I get that, but what’s the point of having a warranty (technically good for a year) and not honor it? I normally would let the buyer beware and not publicly announce how disappointed I am, but because I received NO FEEDBACK when I did my best to let you rectify this situation in a timely manner, I’ve decided that it’s the principle that matters. I will be hard pressed to shop, watch or even say nice things about HSN, QVC, FRONTGATE and anything else you own. And I truly think you need to work on customer service at ingeniousdesigns.com., the manufacturer of your product. Oh by the way…Ming is getting reamed on this too. His mom and dad and brother and his grandmother, Mrs. Lee, wouldn’t have let me get away with being rude totheir customers at Mandarin Kitchen.
@pipsadog, I’m very sorry to see this. Sadly, items purchased at the HSN Outlet are as is and the manufacturer’s warranty is no longer valid. Returns can be made to the HSN Outlet within 30 days of purchase date.
