Major delay – status
I placed an order on October 5 and I did not receive it. I did, however, receive an email without explanation that this item was delayed and I would be receiving it within 10 days. That was five days ago and I see the item is still in packaging. Can you please give me an update on what is going on and when I will be receiving my item? Thank you

You say sadly there’s no additional information at this time. I am writing to customer service to get additional information at this time. Can you please find out what is going on with that order and let me know? That is quite a ridiculous response to someone who is looking for the status of an order. In addition, a second flex pay is due very shortly and I don’t want to pay it if I haven’t received my item yet. According to federal shipping laws, I believe that I am entitled to not be paying for this item at this time. Can you please look into this and let me know what the status is of this item as well as stopping the flex pay on the second payment since I didn’t receive it? Thank you.
HSN – did you check on my specific order or is this just a “canned” response?

I placed an order on October 8th for three items. HSN split it into three different order numbers:
These were not waitlist or backordered items – they were all in stock and were supposed to have been delivered within 3-7 business days. Instead they have not even been shipped. Two of these items were supposed to be gifts for my Mother – who has a birthday this weekend. No way do I anticipate receiving them in time for that now. I spoke with chat yesterday and they promised that the orders would be shipped out ASAP. Such was not the case. I never received any kind of e-mail about a delayed shipping status. Whatever the problem is on HSN’s end, there is no excuse for it to take nine – now going on ten – days to ship out an order. Especially when I have already received three other items ordered several days after those. Not cool.
Yes please HSN let us know what is going on here! How can I give a birthday gift in 2 days if what I ordered on the 5th, yes the 5th has not even been shipped yet? I do not mind exercising some patience if I had and explanation, but I see complaints everywhere about items being held in packaging. And I see that my card was charged no problem. I’m sorry to be rude, but really people are feeling a little wronged here.
