Item number 445-136 purchase date Dec 16th 2015
I ordered and received item number 445-136. Tried it on when I received it and it looked and fit great. I wore it yesterday for the first time. After about 2 hrs, the arm length was passed my finger tips, the bottom, I could of worn as a dress it was so stretch out. Very pretty sweater, but it stretched out in a very short time. Since I was in another town about 1 hr away, I could not drive home got get changed for the New Year and had to go to a local store to purchase something to wear for later that day for the New Year Party. I now have to return this item and need to know if they will waive the return shipping charge because of the item stretching out and having to replace it with another purchase that day. Please advise. I will pack it up and return it back when I go back into town this next Thursday. For the price of the sweater, I would not of thought it would stretch out like it did in such a short time.
Thank you for your help
Hello , I’m sorry to hear the sweater stretched with the first wear and I’ve reported your experience to the Merchant. Please use the Easy Return label when you get back to town and the s&h will be waived with your full refund.
I think hsn tries to make the most profit from an item when they first introduce it….because (unlike QVC) hsn actually puts it on Sale in 3-months…then on Clearance in 6-months…at sometimes give-away pricing.
I have NEVER seen a REAL clearance orice at the Q. And they will hang onto inventory for Years, (remember the SG faux trench coat w fur collar?) and only reduce it a few dollars.
Hsn MOVES their inventory and changes it up.
No constant stretch denim pants n tshirts, but rather a huge and varied selection …something for everyone.
Remember, the "high" price is temporary…..check back at the 3-6 month mark….it will be MUCH less.
I agree about Evine..it looks like it’s taped in a garage w neighbors acting as hosts.
QVC is a 4-BILLION $ business…hsn …around 2-billion. (If I’m remembering correctly).
I spend thousands of dollars at HSN, especially when Heidi Daus is on. HSN could show their appreciation for customers by offering free shipping more frequently. There is no way I believe it cost $5.95 to ship each item. HSN is making a killing on shipping and handling charges, at the expense of customers. Many times my shipping and taxes will total $30.00 or more. I know HSN is not responsible for customers in my home state having to pay taxes. That little diddy is a gift from our Governor who decided to tax on line purhases! However, HSN could lower shipping and handling charges, even to the point of providing free shipping for customers. I know they would have to have guidelines….well, how about free shipping for customers once they spend $100.00 per month…or some other wild and crazy guideline that would benefit the customer. How about it HSN?
Kinda been in a dry spell here for the last couple of months, with no really good coupon offers. (Crafts? are you kidding me? How many people can really use that one?) Or, you have to plunk down a good wad of cash before any offers kick in.
I agree. And although this is my first time on the site, I was shocked at the prices. I play their games to win tickets that are used in drawings for the merchandise. I am waiting to see if I am a winner of "anything". Good Luck with your suggestion.
I don’t think QVC….is to expensive I think HSN…needs to have more flex pays on a lot more items I absolutely hate tuning into the special value at 9 only to find out a lot of times that some products will sell out before the hour is up I dislike the website it is not user friendly but I do like a lot of the HSN items
please forgive me but qvc (too expensive) and evine suck!!! especially evine!! please make sure to check out the quality of the evine products prior to purchasing them. some of the products/items that evine offers for sale are blatantly not well made and some others may use chemicals that are carcinogenic as per "california prop 65"- such as some of the leather goods that evine offers for sale. i suggest going to the evine product page for that particular item which interests you and then scroll down to "details". usually at the bottom of the description- in bold lettering- is the "california prop 65" notice. click on this notice and read what comes up. it is usually saying that the chemicals used in the leather products that evine is offering for sale are questionable and may cause cancer, birth defects, etc. as per california prop 65. please be an educated consumer. your money and your health are worth it. xoxo
I shop QVC, Evine & HSN.
QVC has a $3.00 shipping on many items & $5.00 on heavier items. Evine’s flex pay is for all CC, not just their own. Also HSN’s prcies onc lothes is much higher than QVC or Evine. Instead of promos for new customers, I wish HSN would give a promo for established customers A break on return shipping charges would help too.
For pink sheets, check out xxxxxxxxxx. Just put in “pink sheets” in the sesrch line and Walla, they have them!! Some even on grest sale prices!!

I feel the same way. I use to eagerly look every day at what was new and usually purchased alot. Lately I feel there is nothing much that catches my eye and the shipping is horrendous. Plus if you need to send back it is at least $4.00 at the post office and $6.95 HSN. That’s alot of money to lose.
I agree with a lot of the comments here. Even QVC has reduced some of their shipping costs. There just isn’t much that appeals to me here anymore. I feel that overall, the prices are too high. For example, on clothes, I have probably spent less than $500 this year with HSN. Evine has better prices and more variety of things that appeal to me, someone in their 50’s. Right now, I am looking for boots and possibly another winter coat, but HSN is just way overpriced compared to other online shopping options. I purchase almost exclusively online (except for groceries), so I would love to have HSN offer better deals and lower shipping costs.
I spend thousands of dollars at HSN. I may consider shopping at Evine instead from here on out. I’m not sure, I just haven’t been happy lately.
Diva… I SO AGREE WITH YOU! I really miss those Free Shipping Coupons! I really don’t understand why HSN has become SO stingy with their discounts. They’re making money hand-over-fist as the mark-up on the products they offer is ridiculous… especially since most stuff is made in China. The profits they, and the Vendors, make from such cheap manufacturing can absolutely tolerate moderate discounts passed on to us, their CUSTOMERS!
Also, I would like to see more Flex-Pay offered… like on everything! *lol* Over at Evine, not only do they offer Value-Pay on most things, but they extend to 5 & 6 Value-Pays, while HSN offers 2, sometimes 3. And this whole business of 4-Flex if you use THEIR HSN Card is discriminatory, if you ask me. Yes, I know, they’re a business and want your DEBT in their pocket; but still, this practice leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It just screams, GREED, to me!
Evine has their own Credit Card too, but they don’t make it a requirement to get whatever amount of Value-Pays they offer. Everybody gets the Value-Pays whether you use their Card or not. Now, THAT’s FRIENDLY SERVICE! And, FUN too because we can buy more with those extended pay schedules!
