Is HSN under cyber attack because my emails are numerous and in Asian tongue?
Is HSN under cyber attack?????
HSN do I now need to worry about identity theft and HSN
passwords since my personal information have
evidently been hacked by foreign entities? Please
reply advise asap.
HSN please advise reply exactly how was my email address
taken from the so called personal database of HSN.com, and
more importantly whatever happened to your HSN Security
and Privacy measures, which should have been in place and
updated often with the most current up to date internet
Security and Privacy safeguards???
Those HSN safeguards which should safeguard your entire HSN database, customers,HSN.com and HSN Community Forums as well are not the type
of Internet safeguards we expect..
HSN I would greatly appreciate your immediate email advise-
ment reply, and please honesty is the best policy since I may
need to cancel all credit/debit/store cards and have them
reissue new ones to us, and change passwords too.
HSN this is a definite Breach of Security in it’s highest form, and HSN must address and resolve this in a very expedient manner and place
proper security safeguards which are updated with current newest
safeguard measures, to ensure this type of security database breach
does never occur again.
HSN should also send it’s customer database email advisement stating
what steps HSN has initiated to ensure the safety of continuing to order from HSN, and visit HSN,com and the HSN Community Web Forums.
Now I fear even ordering anything from HSN, and rightfully so.
Just a heads up to let you know it is Thursday July 12th, 2018 and those numerous foreigh Asian language emails are still arriving into my web internet mail box in droves, and I see they are still in the HSN Community forums today too.
Is HSN any closer to resolving this un-nerving cyber attack intrusion on its web sites, and in it’s customer databases?
Please advise reply and again, many thanks:).?
I would like to be unsubscribed to this site’ I have talked to two different people at hsn and neither could help me. Can someone please help me solve this issue!!!!!!!
Another day 7/11/2018 and it still continues in my web mail box and here on the HSN Community forum boards.
My web mail box has so many of these Asian posts, that it literally a grave nuisance to have to remove each one and not open it.
I hope HSN knows who is responsible and will take security measures and all appropriate actions to properly resolve this irritating dilemma, once and for all.
I sure hope the added verification step does help to resolve this upsetting dilemma, and many thanks!
These two users seem to be the ones posting it:
what the heck?? It’s Still happening. ..I’m out of here.
Many thanks for your expedient HSN advisement reply, but my question still remains unanswered, and I hope you or another HSN Employee can provide this answer which I still need to read….
In part of your reply to me you stated this:
I can certainly assure you that your personal information was not compromised as we take many steps to secure and ensure our customers information is safeguarded.
Unfortunately I beg to differ HSN_Krissy because my personal information as far as my personal email web mail box address was compromised, since I received many numerous emails written in Asian foreign tongues, and those also must have been some that also appeared in the HSN Community Forums earlier today, so since my web email address was compromised and I received so many numerous suspicious emails in an Asian tongue, I still need to learn just how was my personal email address taken from your “secure HSN database, which evidently was not fully safeguarded as it should have been”?
I would greatly appreciate either your HSN reply advisement HSN_Krissy, or an HSN reply advisement relative to this very disconcerting hacking dilemma from perhaps someone of higher authority at HSN?
Please reply advise again and many thanks….
Hi @redman1, I understand your concern and the concern for fellow Community members. Remember when you subscribe to a thread in the HSN Community, you’ll receive an email when someone post on that thread. These people posted multiple times in multiple threads which caused everyone who subscribed to those threads to receive multiple messages. There was no compromise of our customer’s information.
Hi @redman1, I completely understand your concern regarding the many emails you have received from the Community this morning. I can certainly assure you that your personal information was not compromised as we take many steps to secure and ensure our customers information is safeguarded.
