Internal Product Testing Program
I remember asking about this a year or two ago and was told HSN has stopped the program. However I noticed that it is back again based on the reviews on Lysse TS.
Please let me know how I can join this program or be eligible to qualify for it.
@bigfan67, as stated above, I submitted an honest review and the product never aired as a TS. I gave a 3 star rating and guessing other participants were honest as well. The product never aired as a TS, at least on or near the date we were originally told. I understand what you’re saying, but there are people out there with integrity who take their ‘job’ seriously. As a matter of fact, I was selected a few months ago for a second product but that was through a vendor program. Everyone loved the product and it has a 5 star rating. They selected participants based on my HSN purchase history.
I noticed Lysse used the “internal testing program” which seems unfair because the host keeps saying they have all five star ratings. Well, it’s hard to look a gift horse in the mouth and have negative comments. All the program testers gave it five stars. Plus what’s the point of having the program, it’s not like HSN is going to take the item off of the TS. I won’t order this product because it just creates bad feelings for those of us who have to pay for shipping and/or return shipping if we don’t like it.
I was selected in December for a new product line HSN is now offering. I received an email asking if I was interested. I answered a few qualifying questions regarding my thoughts on this particular area of fashion. I fit the criteria they were looking for and they sent the product. I had a few weeks to wear before I had to submit an honest review. They encouraged honesty. I liked the product but found a couple things I didn’t like so I gave it 3 stars. I don’t know why I was selected but must have fit the demographics they were looking for. I think they use the internal program to make sure the product is marketable and of good quality. This particular product hasn’t shown up in the vendor’s product list so I am wondering if the reviews on the product didn’t exceed expectations. This told me it is an honest program and HSN values the feedback. Hang in there. They have lots of customers. You never know when you might be selected.
I am not in favor of the program. As a paying customer. I feel it is discriminatory. I may send my Lysse purchases back when received and not continue to do business with HSN.
@dewdrops77, any type of internal testing programs are done by our merchandising teams and the participants are selected by them directly. Unfortunately there isn’t a way to request to join these types of programs. I apologize for any inconvenience.
