I purchased some items from the Twiggy line today and completed the transaction
after the transaction, I noticed that the price of the each item did not complete the process as the reduced price, it reflected anywhere from 7.00 to 10.00 more each item. I then cancelled all items. This also did the same thing over the weekend. I believe I am done with purchasing items on line due to this happening. These items were flaged in my alert box, with the reduced price, priced on line as the reduced price and ended up completing the transaction additing dollars to the total price.
Hello , I’m sorry to hear you cancelled your orders. After an order is placed on line, the charge goes through authorization at the full price and the promotional price will appear when the order processes at midnight ET.
I am sorry to hear that is the way HSN does business. because onece it is purchased, my credit card is debited, I checked it after the purchase. Maybe HSN adjust it at the end of the day, Once the order is placed and goes after midnight, it is a chance I have to take as to if the correct purchase price is corrected on my credit card. I don’t like the idea of after midnight if it does not correct the correct charge amount, then I am stuck with the item at the wrong price, and will have to pay return shipping to correct it. The way I know this is because I not only printed an item that was reduced, but presented it to HSN when this happened, and they would not correct, they acted like I was at the wrong and did not know what I was talking about, If HSN cannot figure out a way to correct this, then I guess I am done shopping. I don’t see why once we have placed out order and finalized it, that we have to go back the next day and verify the correct price. That is very time consming and I have other things to do besides that, it is like having to balance a bank account every day. Sorry, I am out. I will not be liable for the mistake of HSN. I will call Corporate and advise them ofthe issue to see if something can’t be done to correct this. I will not babysit my account. Have to verify that day the correct price and go back the next day to verify and balance it again.
