I hate HSN UPS Driver Releases which violate UPS guidelines of direct delivery
I ordered 1 pink sheet set in queen size from HSN, and they were delivered by UPS, but I never received them since the notification of delivery from HSN said this:
Delivered On: Saturday, 06/02/2018 at 12:13 P.M.
Left At: Front Door (Not left at my front door)
Received By: DRIVER RELEASE (Means driver left without getting a signature for this UPS delivery), and that to me means he could have taken them home for himself, lost them, left them elsewhere, etc.
This violates UPS guidelines since UPS always state their guidelines which are “The UPS driver must deliver to the person whose name is on the UPS package first, and btw someone is always home in my place 24/7 to sign and personally accept all deliveries from HSN, or any other company”.
I will ask around and see if the item was recovered, if not I will notify and expect a full Visa Card refund and HSN should not release HSN packages without a signature upon arrival from the HSN Customer who is the recipient!

Until a few years ago UPS required signatures for standard deliveries. But then they changed it as part of their annual price increase and you have to request and pay extra for a delivery signature.
I just learned this week that if you are not home and UPS can not just leave a package, you will have to go pick it up from one of their UPS stores. And if you want to change anything about delivery there is a fee you will have to pay.
The post office is not much better but at least they have access to all buildings. Also you should know that when the USPS leave a package at your door and you do not get it but it is marked in their system as delivered, then you can not make a claim on insurance. If their computer has it marked as delivered, they will not investigate because the computer says so and all their workers are perfect.
