HSN Pricing and Double Billing
I bought Perlier White Honey body cream. It was $19.95. It’s been that price for about 2 months. I go to order the same thing and now it’s $40.00. On 9/17 I paid $19.95 and Now it has doubled! So, because of that,I went to Amazon and got free shipping and paid $24.00.
Also, beware of double charges on all those multiple payments. I have been double charged, only partially refunded, and not refunded at all on some items. I tried to call customer service and didn’t get any help from them.
It’s my fault because I didn’t pay close attention to the charges because I had returned things and then ordered stuff with the same payment amounts, so it was hard to tell what payments went with what order. I tried to download all the transactions but the payments aren’t specific. I couldn’t balance them with the accounts they withdrew payments from. I don’t know how much I was over billed or refunded. HSN doesn’t give you enough info. I found a few things that were never refunded, and then I saw double withdrawals. For example, say I paid $24.00 in payments and returned the item, my refund would be less than half, like 8.47. There was no breakdown as to why. Then the 24.00 would be taken out again, but it didn’t know for what. It may sound like I don’t have my stuff together, but according to this forum, I am not the only one having these types of problems.
All the payments and returns were confusing. I can see paying for shipping, but if 5 items are in one package, why would the refunds on all the items be much less than shipping costs?
Nothing makes sense and I don’t even know where to start. It’s to the point where I can’t even keep track of it all because some things I got with my bank account and other things with PayPal. It seems like they charged both payment methods for everything. All I know is that I have tons of withdrawals from my bank account and PayPal Credit account. It doesn’t add up and I guess this is how they profit by confusing you.
If I ever have to get something from HSN, I will get only one thing at a time and limit my payments to 2 or pay in fill because it’s easier to track.
I’d be happy to help you with this, @pennylily. One thing to remember about returns, if you use our return label to return an item that is not damaged or defective, you will be billed for the use of that return label which gets deducted from your refund. Please let me know what orders you have concerns with and I’ll take a look to see what has transpired.
