HSN Nightmare…..No Help
July 6th – tried to order a t.v. to find my address was blocked by HSN due to last tenant not paying their HSN bill. I had to wait 10 full business days for you to remove the block.
July 17th – ordered a Vizio t.v. and was given $100 spendable kash for the inconvenience of having to wait.
July 30th – got t.v. only to plug it in and realize the right side of the t.v. doesn’t work. I called and was advised I would have to wait 21 days for a return label. By this time I was having to move so I changed my address with you and told you to send the label. The t.v. has since sold out so I can no longer purchase one like I wanted, nor can I exchange it.
August 6th – ordered a Bissell big green carpet shampooer since it was on sale. I got my order confirmation and was advised of 3 to 7 day shipping. A week later, no shampooer. You canceled my order after shutting down my ability to order and then took away my entire credit limit on my HSN card. Why? Because I changed my address! Seriously! Not because I didn’t pay my bill and not because I pay late (I don’t), etc., but because I changed my address. Really? I’ve had to call multiple numbers to fix your mistakes.
August 28th – I call and get the rudest HSN rep I’ve ever dealt with. I just wanted to know where the return label was since it hadn’t arrived. I was advised you had not sent the return label to the new house, but the old one. Keep in mind I have called to check on the label’s whereabouts before and they just blow you off saying you have to wait the full 21 days, etc. If I had known the person I spoke with didn’t enter the right address, I would have corrected it. Now I am being forced to wait ANOTHER 21 DAYS!!!! And this is IF you get it right.
IT IS SEPTEMBER 4th! It has been 2 full months that I have tried to get a t.v. and I’m going to have a broken one lying around the house for at least another 3 weeks. Then if I want to order another one I will have to wait another 3 weeks for delivery…..but that’s right, I can’t order…..because no matter how many different departments I call, no one fixes the problem. I’ve sat on hold, I have verified my identity, etc.
If you’re going to "give" me $100 ‘Spendable Kash’ for the inconvenience of having a blocked shipping address (and then take it away since I still have the t.v.), you could at least have the decency to send me a t.v. with the SAME specs as the one I ordered, for the same price as the Vizio. Because if I were to order a comparable t.v. I will have to pay at least $300 more for another brand and that is not fair. After everything I’ve had to go through, it is the least you could do.
Unblock my account so I can order. I have verified my identity and called more times than I can count and it’s nothing but one inconvenience for me after another. All because I chose to order from HSN? I didn’t have problems with you before.
