HSN Customer Service please read and advise about full defective item refund
Hi HSN Customer Service Reps & Managers:
I would have called but cannot since I awoke with laryngitis, and cannot speak, so I am requesting you please notate my HSN,com account that I am returning item # 529-463 (The Curtis Stone Digital Thermometer with pot clip), since I tried it out myself before gifting it, and according to the enclosed Curtis Stone Item instructions I read and followed, I cannot select the cook by taste option level instructions, therefore this item is definitely defective.
My batteries were brand new, and all written instructions for this item worked fine when enacted, until I tried the cook by taste option which is what the gift recipient wished to use, but that option was totally inoperable, and not working at all.
Everything before that cook by taste option I was able to see & program enact, but could not proceed, since the method option of cook by taste does not function to be enacted to digitally display and work.
Please ensure I receive my full 1st HSN Flex payment refund directly back to my Visa Bank Card in the amount of what I paid to HSN, which was for my 1st HSN Flex Pay of $11.37 purchased on 3/22/2017.
Also please ensure there are no return refund fees whatsoever deducted from my 1st flex pay refund due me of $11.37, since I am returning a defective item for a full Visa Bank Card Refund which was my original HSN purchase payment method used.
I will personally hand this to my regular UPS carrier either today when he arrives with a UPS delivery order, or on Wednesday April 12th, 2017, and he will use his UPS scanner to scan the UPS easy return label code into his UPS scanner and place the HSN defective return item into his UPS truck, to have it shipped back to HSN by UPS.
Also please have an email sent to my email address advising I have been refunded the full refund of $11.37 back to my original method of payment, and under no circumstances do I want an HSN refund check in the mail, or an HSN Merchandise Credit.
(I want my Visa Bank card refunded my full HSN defective return refund of $11.37 since that is what I originally used to pay for this Curtis Stone defective item).
Please advise reply today, and many thanks in advance.

Hi @redman1, it is disappointing to hear of your experience with the Curtis Stone Thermometer. I have waived the fee associated with the Ez Return label and once our warehouse receives the package at the warehouse, a refund for your first FlexPay will be processed to your original method of payment and you will also receive a refund confirmation email. I hope you feel better soon!
