hp envy photo 7855 all in one printer
I previously purchased the HP Envy Photo 7855 all in one printer. I inserted the ink cartridge and it gives me an error that one or more of the cartridges are refilled recycled cartridges and HP does not cover any damage done to the printer due to using refilled recycled cartridges. I also purchased two additional set for the printer. I replaced the ink with the new boxes of cartridges that I had purchased and it also gives me the same error.
Are the ink cartridges that are sold with the printer and the additional boxes used and replaced cartridges. I don’t want to use these and it damage the printer and the warranty is voided. I was under the impression that when you purchase a printer it is new and the ink is new. Please advise. if this is the case, then I need to return this printer and the additional ink purchased.
Hi @judiwonder, were you able to get the issue with your ink cartridges resolved? If you still need to return it for a refund or exchange we’ll be happy to set it up and waive your return shipping fees.
Regarding your follow up question. This printer does have WiFi capabilities which are very easy to set up. You’ll just need to select the wifi network you would like to use then enter the network password as you would for any computer or mobile device. Once the printer is connected to the network, it should be visible to any device on the same network. If you are wanting to print using Bluetooth you’ll need to install the HP All-in-One Remote app. I hope this helps.
this is less than 30 days, so I will return it so I don’t have to go through the trouble of calling the mfg. I purchased from Hsn and believe they should have to do the finger work if it is prior to the return time. I don’t have the time to do this, so It would be shorter to box it up and return as defective. It should work just our of the box after matching it to your blue tooth computer or ipad etc.
please advise me if I am wright. I should not have to be the one to take time to do this. I understand a set-up steps, but to have to work out the quarks, I’m out.
Sorry to see you’re having trouble using this printer, @judiwonder. There is nothing that says these ink cartridges are recycled cartridges. Have you checked the manual for troubleshooting tips? You may want to contact the manufacturer to see if there is something else causing that error before you return it.
