Hosts and Vendors: We Need Size and Fit Information!! First Thing!
I have been pleading for years for size and fit information from hosts and vendors, and I am surprised (I’m being kind) that this is not routine host information for HSN’s online shoppers. Why don’t all of the hosts and vendors realize that we are not there in person to try things on? We need hosts and vendors to talk about size and fit! Re Bzees 9/21/17 TS with Bobbi Ray Carter (“BRC”) and the Bzees vendor: It wasn’t until 29:37 that size and fit were mentioned, and that was only because A CALLER ASKED. In the videos that I have watched, BRC is particularly bad about discussing size and fit (whether the vendor is MarlaWynne, Bzees, or whoever), but she is great at giving the LENGTH MEASUREMENT of a garment (without identifying the number as the length! She just throws out these numbers!). A vendor might be nervous and forget, but shouldn’t a seasoned host KNOW to include critical size and fit information? Shouldn’t HSN be concerned if we customers do not get this info? Is there some advantage to HSN to leave its customers in the dark about size and fit? Here’s a suggestion (easy one): You (host) slip on the shoe and say, “I usually wear a size 7 medium. My feet are on the slim side. I am wearing a size 6-1/2 [or 7 or whatever size] in the Bzees, and LOOK [camera goes to host’s foot], here’s how it fits me.” Hardly complicated! We can figure it out if our feet are larger, wider, etc. We Need Information.
