HGTV Set of 3 Home Ceramic Wall Planters with Plants Plants arrived terribly damaged
We received our orders yesterday which was for 2 of these (6 total plants). Everyone was damaged with a mound of broken pieces left in the unpacking wake. They also arrived WAY over wattered. They shouldn’t be packaged in just plastic wrap then left to move around in a box. They are extremely fragile plants and should individually be boxed in proper packaging that has fold in tabs which hold the pot in place then placed in a shipping box. The pedals of succulents can very easily break.

Chat wanted to initiat a return for refund with a shipping credit. The thing is we like the hanging planters. So the solution from them was $6 off each order returned to my hsn card. $6 off each $30 order? We all know these pots come from China and HSN probably pays $3 for them if that. I can get just the pots on ebay for $13. $6 isn’t the value of succulents search around at nurserys. $7.99+ a plant is what these type go for.
$12 off a $60 order when half of the order is damaged/destroyed is PATHETIC to say the least! Sure I could have sent them in for an exchange and gotten what back worse plants? Chat claimed that they rarely have complaints about the plants which I find extremely hard to believe. If they are always this large and are shipped in this manner then they will always arrive damaged with broken pedals. There is no way around it. Forget the fact they are “succulent” they were drenched in water and the soil on only one was the way it should have been. Some of the pedals were so soft and squishy it was like lettuce that has been sitting in your fridge for 2 weeks and was left with a damp paper towel with it.

Seems the simple solution would be to just return them since HSN was not going to charge you the return shipping…If you can buy them on EBay for $13 then that is only $26 for two sets which is $34 less than you paid here.That difference should more than cover the cost to get plants locally to go in the planters.They even sell those plants at Walmart or the big box stores and they aren’t that much.

I am not an HSN card holder and I received the coupon via email..For the ones not receiving coupons make sure you are signed up for emails and promos under your account settings..I rarely look at the coupons because so much is excluded its not worthwhile and so time consuming to find something I want that they will apply to.
