Here is something that drives me nuts! I ordered a bunch of things on 12/12 and paid almost $40 in shipping costs. $5.50 here, $3.50 there….it all adds up. I wake the next day, TODAY, 12/13 to find out shipping is free for items bought on 12/13. My items have not been shipped out, they are still processing, and some are being packaged. The exact same items I bought less than 24 hrs. ago, all have free shipping now!!!!!!!! I shelled out all kinds of cash paying for shipping, and you all decide to do it shipping free today!!!! That is just wonderful! Had I known you were going to do this, I could have just waited until 12/13. I wasn’t in a rush. Most of the items I got usually never have free shipping. I tried to wait to see if you would offer a free shipping day again like ya did about a week or so ago, but I didn’t happen. So, I had some free time on 12/12 to order some flashlights and a few other things, paid almost $40 in shipping fees and today, you all decide to offer free shipping. There should be a policy that if the items purchased haven’t shipped yet, and you offer free shipping within 24 hours, the customer should get free shipping!
Then, about 2 was ago, an amazon tv cube was on sale for $65 and it sold out at that price even though you can buy it still for $119. Then, a week or so later, the same exact thing goes on sale again, but now it’s at about
$54! I am afraid to buy anything now because of all these changes. It’s like a gamble.
WOW Krissy that is so nice of you and I hope Pennylily sees your reply. This shows me that HSN does care about their customers and maybe not all is lost! The problem is its not consistent and many customer service reps would say “too bad”. I had a similar situation with HSN offering free shipping and then the next day a savings frenzy! Needless to say many of the items I purchased were much cheaper even with the shipping cost added. I was told basically “oh well, your loss” I don’t want anything from you , just wish HSN customer service was fair with everyone and treated us all equally!
I completely understand your frustration @pennylily and hate for you to miss out on the great free shipping promotion, I’d be more than happy to issue $37.50 in Spendable Ka$h to honor the shipping. Please let me know if that would work for you.
