Extremely Upset Customer
In the past, I had ordered numerous things from HSN on FlexPay, & paid off all of the balances completely with no issues. Today I tried to order something, & received an error message stating that FlexPay is not available to me at this time. I figured this was just an error w/ me trying to use my credit card, so I tried again w/ my bank card, & it proceeded to tell me the same thing. Then I went & checked both of my card statements & I have two pending transactions for almost $200. I then got extremely aggravated, so I called the 800 number to speak w/ someone about it, & was told my orders were cancelled & it can take 3 to 5 business days to be reversed. Yet couldn’t give me the reason why, & specified that some other department handles the FlexPay orders & has certain criteria they follow for approval. Back then, I had the worst credit in the world & was given payment arrangements, but now since I have good credit, they deny me? Plus, I’m pretty sure that they have to declare somewhere on their page or in their faq sections, that it is based on this so called “criteria”, & no one is allowed to access your credit report w/o your knowledge or authorization. So really, what is going on with this company, because last time I checked, it had a very good reputation, but now I am reading all of these complaints from other people as well. If I had $400 to spend right this second, I would have saved another $300, & went to Walmart to purchase the same item from them, which probably would cost me less anyways, w/o making payments, & would have been able to take it home the same day. I want to know why I wasn’t approved, & I was still charged when obviously if the company knew I was denied in the beginning, then there should have been no reason to put holds on both of my cards!!!!! I really can’t wait to read what this “letter” says that I am supposed to receive in the mail, because it states anywhere on it that my credit or scores were accessed w/o my permission or by notifying me first, HSN will then be dealing w/ my lawyer.
I really am sorry that your order was canceled and your experience with us recently @kboulton28. I’ve sent an electronic request regarding the funds being held on your account to your financial institution. The time frame as to when the fund will become available is dependent upon their release of funds policy.
Regarding FlexPays, each item has a link next to them with a question mark in a bubble.
Clicking on that bubble will show a pop up that explains FlexPay and that all FlexPay orders are subject to credit verification.
I had a horrible full blown allergic reaction
to a new beauty line that HSN just introduced. IT’s been over a month, my face is still red. I’ve seen my primary doctor and and a dermatologist as I was worried about scarring on my face. I’m 68 yrs. old and this was the first time it happened to me. I’ve used different brands of beauty products (lancome, perlier, korres, skin & co., etc) without complications. I took photos of the traumatic stages I went through. I’m disappointed that I never heard anything from your side, really, really disappointed!!!

I’m sorry you had such a bad reaction and that nobody has responded to you yet, Benihana75. In the future, I suggest creating your own thread. We often won’t revisit old threads once the issue has been resolved and may miss responses there. What brand did you have the allergic reaction to? I’d like to forward this to our legal team so someone can contact you directly.

What? I ordered these skin care line when Beekman1802 had their 1st TS last 07-31-18.
I show you previously ordered Beekman and reported an allergic issue then, which we refunded and spoke to you about at that time. Was this a different allergic reaction issue?
At that time I thought it was just a mild one
one that will eventually go away. It didn!t.
I had to go see another doctor, a dermatologist for fear of scarring on my
face. I don’t care about the refund you
people are always saying you’ve issued me.
I had to pay for these visits and prescription.
The whole process was so horrible for me. I hope no one undergoes what I went through.
