Elite Pressure Cooker issues
Order# ***purchased on 8-29-15. I have used it 3 times and like it, but now it won’t work. The lights appear but unit won’t heat. I have cleaned the seal and pressure valve. Do you have any other ideas on what can be done to make it work? Is there a manufacture warranty I can untilize?

Mine shut off just before it started the countdown after pressurizing! I noticed a smell like plastic burning prior then noticed iall the lights were off. I unplugged it and tried again but still wouldn’t turn on. Meanwhile my dinner is still in there. I am so bummed, I love this Elite pressure cooker! I noticed the 3 prong that plugs into the cooker was very hot. What can I do? I need a replacement please!
I bought this and used it for a few months. Then one day it was making a strange sound, so I turned it off and reached across it and got a 3rd degree burn on my hand. After it cooled off, and I opened it to see what caused the burn, I realized a small part was missing where the pressure valve was causing steam to shoot up. Called the company’s customer service to get answer as to why this piece had just fallen out, but could not get anyone to answer. I have a photo on my phone of the burn.
I called the customer service again. The representative told me there is a valve that can fall out if the gasket comes loose. She said she would send me a replacement part. Apparently this is a common occurence since she knew immediately what I was referring to. Glad to have it replaced, but worry that this may happen to others. Bad design flaw. Be careful!
I also bought this and returned it. The valve on top wouldn’t turn or stay on.
Piece of junk. Bought a Farberware at Walmart, cheaper and works great!
Hello ?, I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with your Elite 359-087 but it is under the manufacturer’s warranty. Thanks for coming to the Community for help. The Troubleshooting Guide suggests this may be caused when the fuse in the unit has shorted out. This happens if the unit is cooked without enough liquid in the inner pot or if there is too much electrical current going to the cooker. Please contact customer service for a replacement fuse.Call 1-800-365-6133 (ext. 105 and 107) or email email@example.com.
