Defective item, knife missing so expecting full Visa Card 1st flexpay refund

Defective – Missing the paring knife, so returning using HSN prepaid USPS return shipping label, & await full Visa Card refund of the 1st HSN Flex payment.
This item was purchased as a surprise birthday gift for a friend.I opened the box to check that everything worked fine, and accessories promised were all included, but now I cannot gift it since the knife which was supposed to be enclosed was missing. I consider it defective since the knife was missing & will return it & await a full Visa Card refund of the 1st HSN Flex payment I originally paid.
BTW I ordered another HSN chopper for my friend & hope it arrives with all items as shown on HSN.
HSN C.S. please advise reply asap, and ensure I am not charged for return postage and will receive my full 1st HSN flex payment refund I already paid to HSN & many thanks!

BTW my son informed me he had received my HSN package yesterday which came with a multi function Julianne Peeler, and it arrived with everything I was expecting which was a big relief, so I will be gifting that to my friend.
