Debbie Meyer Lockin’ Green Boxes
Hello, I bought the 18 pc and this is what happened to it.
a rat chewed a hole into the top and on the side to get to the item that was stored.
MissAnthrope…as much as I love my Nutribullet and would tell you that you would love it…and I have never had a problem with it leaking, I think that’s from it not being screwed together well…IT DOES take a little effort for me to open it after it runs to loosen it. Sometimes I have to use something silicone to grab it to loosen it. IF that would help you with your wrists…a silicone pot holder or hot pad, then by all means get it. It’s wonderful!
My same bullet leaked for my mom because she has arthritic fingers and it was hard for her to tighten it propperly. This makes a terrible mess when it leaks so I would not reccomend this set up for you.
It does not leak when tightened propperly.
Thanks, Cindy819. My arms are so bad that not even the slicone grippers or arthritis "tools" can help me – there are days when I can barely hold a coffe cup (or drinking glass – horrors!!!). 🙂 I may just have to stick with my old juicer, which is a PITA to wash, but easy for me to put together and use.
Thanks to everyone for your feedback.
I’m sorry MissAnthrope, because this is a wonderful tool compaired to a juicer. You just throw everything in there and drink it. No mess to clean up unless you don’t get it screwed together well as Mooncat said with her Mom. Hopefully one day soon, Nurtibullet will figure that out for those that have a harder time opening and closing than the rest do…and I hope soon…I’m heading that way fast. Good luck!
MissAnthrope – I share your same concerns with these products. Just wanted to share with you – I found on Amazon – I also think Q sell it – Kuhn Rikon jar opener – works like a charm. I can open juice jars, salsa jars – its under $20 – but works so well. I have bilateral chronic tendonitis in both wrists and very stiff fingers. I am hoping by eating better, more green smoothies, etc will help cut down on the inflamation.
Here’s to health 🙂 God bless, be well
Thanks, Meezergeezer – I’ll check that out. I also have the chronic bilateral tendinitis (wrists, forearms, elbows & shoulder), plus nerve damage in the elbows, burstis and impingement syndrome in the shoulder, and some arthritis in a few places. Sheesh – I sound like an old cripple!!! 🙂
