Credit card charged and orders still show in packaging
Can you please check on the status of my orders placed on 2/20. My credit card was charged on the 21st but the orders still show in packaging. This has happened before two weeks ago and I am getting tired of getting charged before the items ship. Especially when the items total over $300.
, I’m very sorry but I don’t have any tracking information for these orders yet. If your items don’t arrive by the expected delivery we’ll either refund or exchange your order. I’m also going to see if I can get someone to look into your account. It just seems odd that this would happen multiple times on your account.
You do realize that QVC does exactly the same thing, and a quick browsing of their boards will show numerous people with the same complaints.
Additionally, many other retailers — including brick and mortar stores — are now tracking and limiting returns.
In most cases, the people who end up receiving "the letter" are impulse shoppers, ordering and returning way too many items. They tie up inventory, preenting others from purchashing it, and drive up overall costs which get passed along to everyone else.
