Concern on Product – HSN No. 1357289755 – Joy Mangano Handbag
I received my Handbag No.*****9755 – Joy TuffTech/RFID Protection Tote and Wallet Gift Set – and was shocked to see the warning on the box….. “Proposition 65 Warning: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.” WHY would you sell any item known to cause CANCER???????!!!! I had such trust in Joy’s products, have purchased several and now am so very disappointed. Is this also true of her other products (suitcases, etc., made of same material!)? Obviously if it potentially could cause cancer in California, it could in all other places as well. We may not have the protection of such a warning.
Obviously I am returning this dangerous product. This was NOT part of the on-air promotion but such a statement should have been included. Please refund all monies ASAP. Thank you!

, HSN is required to add any state warning with all applicable orders. I have reported your concern and waived the return s&h fee. You will not be charged for the return.
I wrote about this topic also. You can find it under talk among yourselves.
Techtuff . It may be the lead in the RFID protection but… To have a warning that says wash your hands after handeling, it says much more about a BIGER problem.
It is insulting and so decieving that Joy Mangano and HSN would do such a scam on the big launch without mentioning the warning or explaining it in the big sales pitch.
Where is there product safety team? Where is there legal team? Why wasn’t someone there to say…”Maybe this still needs some work before we unleash this on the public??
You can no longer read the reviews or see the product on HSN. (Maybe it s sold out)?
There must be a very large carpet that they swept it under.
