Can you please give me a beauty coupon code?  I have been with HSN for many years, spent alot of money, and all I want is a coupon code to use in beauty.  Please make it where it can be used more than one time. I tend to spend more when I have a coupon code with free shipping.  Can you please help me ?

I have a couple questions for xosparklesxo – so if your grocery store only supplies the best coupons to the people that spend the most money – how is that fair to me who used to shop for 6 (Husband, myself and 4 kids) but my kids are grown now so there are only 2 of us using toilet paper.  Why should I have to buy 10 bras from a company I need to buy in order to be a “select customer” to get a coupon for my 11th bra I don’t need now that I already have 10 of them?  Should I not get a coupon to buy a special piece of jewelry just because I can’t afford to purchase thousands of dollars throughout the year?  If I had the thousands of dollars to spend on jewelry to begin with I wouldn’t be looking for a $5 coupon!!!  We all shop differently do to our personal tastes and our income.  Those with less income according to your thoughts should be penalized – that is not fair at all!!!  I spend a lot of money at HSN – and I don’t want a coupon for a bra after I just purchased one.  I want a coupon I can use on anything – no conditions, no non-transfers – no 24 hour time limits.  The stores I buy from I have never heard of what you are talking about so obviously you shop at stores way above my pay scale!!!!

I have a Macy’s card, rarely use it. Two months ago, I purchased a Ralph Lauren item with the card.  I’ve since been mailed two envelopes with great discount coupons.  I have almost non- existent purchase history with them.  I am a Bloomingdales Loyalist and once a month they offer $25.00 on each $100.00 you spend, always free shipping-free returns, points on all purchases.  Triple on beauty. Don’t need a huge purchasing history there either.

As far as I’m concerned HSN gives me no incentive to purchase products from them. $6.95 shipping then 3.95 on the second.  Then the returns.  Cut us a break already.  Get with it HSN.

    In response to lemire

I never said anyone with lower income should be penalized!  For heavens sakes!  You are putting words in  my mouth.  I could never afford to go get a Nordstrom’s credit card and get into their exclusive club for members who spend $10,000 a year.  That is not a penalty to me.  It’s just not part of my lifestyle and isn’t going to happen. I’m never going to own an American Express black card.  Once again, I don’t see this as a penalty!  I purposely pick a few favorite stores and do all my shopping there to get the best rewards.

I do think it would be nice if HSN would offer a more specific opportunity to earn coupons.  Let us know how, as my other programs do.  That is why I joined this thread.  I thought that suggestion was perfectly on topic with the spirit of the post.  If people know how to qualify for coupons and there is less mystery I thought perhaps it would seem more “fair.”  I am getting the impression now that people could care less about that, but it was an honest suggestion.

I guess I just feel differently about why I shop at HSN.  I don’t come here to shop looking for ultra bargain items.  I enjoy the unique costume jewelry and other nice items.  I know I can go to other stores and pay WAY less for costume jewelry.  Sometimes I choose to do just that.  Some of my favorite items were under $5 elsewhere.  I know I am not going to find things like that here.  It’s not what they cater to at all.  I think HSN is catering to the idea of unique items.  Their prices are not the cheapest, they just aren’t.

I’m sorry that others feel that they are being penalized.  I guess I just see it differently.  When my mother in law gets her 20% off entire purchases from Kohls for being a “Most Valued Customer”  which I am not I never saw it as them penalizing me.  I just don’t.  I see it as them rewarding her for choosing to spend a good chunk of her hard earned money with them.  Getting those discounts encourages her to keep going back.  I just don’t spend enough there to qualify and I am OK with that.  If HSN had more clear rewards programs like that it makes more sense to me than the secrecy going on now.  That’s all.

Sorry if my opinion is not popular, but it certainly isn’t in the spirit of punishing anyone. There are lots of perks and rewards programs I am not included in at places I shop.  I have a budget like everyone else.  There are PLENTY of items I don’t purchase because they are out of my budget.  A small coupon usually wouldn’t change that either.

I find the best values to be found on HSN are things like Today’s Specials and other featured offers that are indeed, available to everyone!  They don’t require one to be a cardholder or get a coupon.  In fact, the coupons usually exclude one day specials, clearance items, etc.  They are easiest to use on things that are currently full price.  I feel they do honestly offer their best deals to everyone.

? We already know that they send coupons to past customers who r not shopping and to new customers. They r not acknowledging their loyal, longtime customers.

Dear xosparklesxo – you are correct that HSN should be upfront and honest as to how to get coupons.  However, you mentioned Kohls.  I have also shopped with them forever.  I do have their credit card.  I maybe place 1 or 2 orders a year.  There is not a month that goes by that I am not emailed Kohls coupons.  I am a so-called a “Select Customer” or something only because I do have their credit card.  Four times a year I can go in and get a huge savings for the day.  I have to use their credit card but in this case that is OK to me because the discounts are much more than the credits I would using my own credit card. I also receive every month a scratch off for 10% – 30% off an entire order.  It comes in their monthly circular.  At least a few times a year my scratch off is 30%.  It’s good on-line or at the store.  I have to use their credit card but again, that kind of savings is worth losing the credits on my credit card.  This holds true for all 4 of my children that also have Kohls cards.  One of my kids shops Kohls all the time because she has small children and finds they have the best deals on kids clothes.  But she doesn’t get anything more than the rest of us do.  Bed, Bath and Beyond is another great example of a store that cares.  I get a large post card every week with a 10% off my entire order every week.  It does have an expiration date but the store will take the coupon anytime.  I save them up and when I go to the store they honor everyone of my coupons.  Then they send out a few times a year a 20% and about once a year you get a 20% off your entire order.  Again, I don’t shop there very often – only when I need the types of things they sell there.  Or they have a deal on something that beats the pants off anyone – including HSN for the same item.  I do not have a credit card with them.  I only signed up for their emails.  I get email offers from company’s I purchased 1 thing from years ago.  This list could go on and on and on.  I know of no other store that does not give incentives to come through their doors to shop.  And those incentives are sometimes for just one day but that particular day is for an entire order.  HSN never does that.  HSN needs a program that everyone understand and one that doesn’t make the bulk of their customers feel they aren’t worthy enough to get any break in price regardless of what kind of shopper you are.  CS told me to watch the “deals”.  The deals are nothing more than countless pages of left overs and discontinued products.  It takes forever to go through it.  I seldom make it past 10 pages because I see something I like but of course it isn’t available in my size.  But every store has that “clearance” rack either in the store or online.  At least with the other stores you can search on apparel, home goods, jewelry, or whatever and save a lot of time on things you aren’t interested in spending your time searching for.  And as had been repeatedly stated in this forum, HSN’s shipping costs have gone through the roof and they charge tax whether you live in Florida or not.  All in all it says way to much about HSN’s policies – or lack thereof.  I just don’t know of any business school that doesn’t teach their managers all the tricks to make their customers feel they are special and will do what it takes to get you to shop their. HSN’s policy seems to be one that only angers people.  I’m not going to stop shopping here because I still find things I want.  But I have to say I come here more to play their games and chat on the Forums than to shop.  The Community is top notch – but that has nothing to do with HSN – the Community is just packed full of great people that are a lot of fun to chat with, to pray for, to get help, to get advise,  and to laugh with. The Forum has more advice and answers than HSN’s own CS.  That’s sad.

? THAT is a winning testimonial. THAT is exactly what I’m talking about. Thank u very much. This is the kind of input HSN needs to read.

Hi , I know how important it is to get the best deal possible. Sadly we do not have coupons to give out.

I came home from work today to an inbox filled with birthday coupons, but one from HSN was conspicuously absent. I guess you know where I won’t be spending my birthday bucks.
