I just applied for and received an HSN credit card but when I went to use it the checkout system declares a BAD ADDRESS and then dumps me out of the checkout process. I’ve never bought from HSN before. What is the point of giving me a substantial line of credit if I can’t checkout. I guess I’ll just buy a comporable item from QVC instead.
I was just completely baffled by this ” BAD ADDRESS ” label I received after going thru the registration to buy an item with my DEBIT CARD IN FULL. LMAO This is comical to me yet very upsetting given the way I have managed my financial regulated life style. I am 41 and paid off my last credit card in June 2002 swearing them off. Do not get me wrong I learned my lesson 18-25 having $20,000 limit credit cards an boy was life a great time lol. I got lucky and caught up on them and never again but my point is, What kind of business operates like this. I read some of you received credit cards from HSN unless something has changed don’t they check your credit report and score including income verification. OK I am going way off subject and very sorry for that thanks for your time and I hope everything works out for you. I assure you that 1. This proves I don’t need the item just wanted it thank you HSN for saving me money. In closing if HSN has moderator’s PLEASE do not waste your time trying to resolve my personal issue there are numerous other shopping sites I can use if I decide to go that route.

This is the craziest mess i have ever seen a company pull! I live in an Apartment complex, do they not know how many people have lived in this apt? I’am not the first and won’t be the last! Thank god i live near the HSN Outlets, i’ll just save my money & purchase my products there! Cheaper anyway! Can you imagine if all companies did this? no one would ever be able to order anything……
This is a bit confusing to me.I don’t know who may have lived at my address before I moved here.I am not clear as to why someone would be issued a card to start with if there was an issue with the address.I have had minor issues a couple of times with the food gift places but it was cleared up quickly once I called and explained I did not know anyone that may have ordered from them and I hadn’t lived at the address at that time.
I do recall one place I needed to get power turned on and the comapny wouldn’t do it due to a past bill that had not been paid.Sadly the owner had to end up paying it before he could lease to another person.I think that is one reason deposits are so high now.I understand a company has to cover themself but making someone responsible for another persons bill just doesn’t seem right.I hope it gets cleared up soon.
Hi, Just letting you know I’ve been fighting with HSN for almost 4 YEARS !! I gave up and went to QVC and have had no problems.
Same thing, have $4000.00 credit limit HSN card and went to use it and I have a bad address. Customer service would NOT do anything,Dont bother calling. I have called so many times and they wont do anything. I feel HSN has a BAD policy and DISCRIMINATED against me and YOU on the basis of another persons actions. I could NOT believe this when they told me.I hope that you do make this VIRAL and let it be known. The bank issuing the HSN card has deemed you credit worthy by running your credit score, what you worked hard for. This is insanity, think about it.I would NOT think this is legal in America. Why would any company do this?
I came across this post by accident searching for a cross necklace, I’m glad it is now getting out and people are finding out. There is nothing HSN has that you cant find somewhere else and I wouldnt buy from a company that has this policy. I couldnt even work for a company where I have to tell them this everyday. HSN you are NOT too big to FAIL.
Over 2 weeks and a lot of promised to contact me and resolve my problem and nothing. Way to go HSN by persecuting your customers before they even have a chance to become your customers.
I never ended up getting any resolution to my problem no one ever followed up and I now have a line of credit on my credit report that is still unuseable. Why did you spend so much effort trying to lure me as a customer if you think my address is so bad.
Hsn did the same thing to me, I applied for a HSN credit card and was approved for a $3,000 credit limit. Next day my account was blocked because someone who lived here before me didn’t pay they’re bill of $142.00. Stupid hsn just lost out on at least $1,500 because I was going to do most of my Christmas shopping with them but I’m over it QVC has had my business for the past 2 years and I will keep it going. To heck with hsn
Well my irritation is that I now have the HSN credit card on my credit report yet I can’t use it. The HSN card is not issued by HSN but by Comenity Bank which is a seperate company.
Customer service told me I should try and track down who it is and ask them to pay without telling me who or what it is. Whatever it is must have happened over 10 years ago anyways.
I’ve never heard of Figis or Swiss Colony.
