I’VE NOTICED YOU OFFER VARIOUS FRAGRANCES THAT CONTAIN “AMBER”. WHAT? TREE SAP WITH DEAD BUGS IN IT? JEST ASKIN’….
THANKS FOR INFO RYAN. BUT IT WOULD BE NICE IF THE HOST/VENDOR PRESENTING THE ITEM WOULD CLARIFY EXACTLY WHAT “AMBER” MEANS. (NOPE, NEVER SEEN JURASSIC – BUT I’VE SEEN JEWELRY ON TV & IN PERSON THAT HAVE THE FOSSILS INSIDE THE STONES.)
@snoopster, have you been watching Jurassic Park? 😂😂😂 The amber used in fragrances is just oil. The amber in fragrance is always a blended scent rather than one particular ingredient. Somewhere along the line, perfumers created the amber note as a sweet, woody earthy note from blends of various resins.
