OUR GO TO FOR FAMILY FUN AFTER A MEAL: LAKE HOUSE where we have all our fun there. My family will all gather in the jacuzzi (adults and kids) laugh, sing, and tell stories. Sometimes we go for a stroll through the woods in the nature trails all wearing head lamps to see, and we listen, smell, and look for natures animals and all our surrounding nature blessings. If it’s cold we sit outside, open wide area porch with outside stone fireplace telling stories, solving problems, laughter, singing, eating s’mores and watching family videos on our elite projector screen. When we are inside we will compete to build the BEST FORT out of sheets, quilts, etc. then the adults with grandchildren and other children will get in the forts and we will have MOVIE NIGHT with popcorn. This is what we do on a regular basis and have LOT’S OF FUN!

This really isn’t a "go to for family fun"…yet, it is fun (funny would be more accurate). This started long ago. One Sunday after a particularly delicious meal, that was very labor intensive in preparation…there was a lot to clean up. Yet, I made the decision to just leave it alone until after everyone was finished eating. All of a sudden there were 4 pair of eyes looking at the pile of pots and pans. Then nervously they began looking at each other. It seemed so funny to me that I burst out laughing…loud belly laughing! It so surprised those at the table everyone began laughing. That laughing sparked a feeling of ‘unity’ I don’t have words to describe. We all got up at the same time and in no time flat everything was spic-and-span! From that day to this…every time we have the pleasure of all being together for a big meal…it ends with wild laughing and a feeling of unity. No one has to be asked to do a thing. No one needs to ask anyone to help…it just all gets done. The best part is all the joy that was originally sparked so long ago by the outburst of spontaneous laughter.:womanhappy::heart:

We just like to load up the car and go for a ride. Stop in at the park and stroll along the creek and take in the sights and sounds of nature. Later on dessert in front of the TV with HSN……Ronnié??

The wine!!!
Wait…that is before during and after dinner. After dinner we usually continue with the wine and play card games such as Euchre, Spades and at least one game of Spoons.

Monopoly – and every other board game that my young teenage/adult kids can beat me and each other with. After playing the Game of Thrones board game with them they introduced me to the TV series. I spent three days and nights in a row glued to the TV I enjoyed it so much. Now they’ve got me hooked on The Walking Dead. Go Daryl!
