My account was blocked. The matter was taken care of on 6/6/2016 and I was given a confirmation number. I was told, “It will be active in about 20 minutes, then you can resume using the website and paying with your HSN card.
I have fulfilled what was required of me and my account is still blocked. After speaking with customer service I was told, “Sorry you were told this, the account can take 30 days before we get the report that your account is settled.”
The HSN website doesn’t even allow me to place an order using any other other form of payment as well. I find this to be in poor customer service. Yes, I realize you must wait for the account to show all is cleared, but how about you and the collection agency that works on your behalf give the same script?
i called the collection agency and he stated, “Wow….I’m sorry, it should be all good. you’ve made the payment, I have your confirmation number so it shouldn’t take them 30 days to restore your ordering”
Even if this is not correct (as HSN customer service has stated) why are you allowing the collection agency to report different information than what you are giving customers? And….why are you so nonchalant about it?
This is very disheartening. Also, I asked “how do I as a customer know when my account is available to use again, will I receive a letter, phone call?” I was told, “Uh…yeah, sorry you’ll just need to keep checking back with us. But is there anything else I can help you with?”
This is disheartening and HSN lacks customer recovery skills.
Hello , I’m sorry you are feeling disheartened while the collection activity is being cleared. This whole process can take up to 3 weeks to complete.
