8 days to wait for a returned merchandise refund credit is really 2 long 2 wait
Hi HSN Customer Service:
Just for the record many companies credit refund their customers in 2 days after they received the item, and that is what I call an excellent organized company who values their customers who purchase their products.
This waiting 8 days for a returned merchandise refund credit is a very long time for HSN and other companies to keep and financially benefit, where they are using my refund money they are still holding, and collecting the Bank interest. (Many times I must also call to get my refund money back because it still is not applied even after the long 8 day wait!
When I think of all the people, and this also apples to the elderly and disabled who are on monthly fixed incomes and are also still waiting so many days to receive their refund credits from HSN and other companies, that runs into quite an enormous hefty amount of free interest HSN and other companies are getting for free, and that really is so unfair to the HSN Customer.
I am not on a monthly fixed income, but I feel as a Consumer it is the principal of withholding my refund credits for so long, which I find totally inappropriate, and highly unacceptable.
If HSN could now speed up my $55.73 refund for item #464-864 back to Visa Card on file in a more expedient fashion, I would greatly appreciate it, and this applies to all companies who do the same thing and financially benefit using their customer’s returned merchandise refund credits by receiving Bank interest and holding refund credit for so long, before applying it back to their customers accounts.
I would also greatly appreciate an HSN Customer Service Representative reply to this very irritating dilemma, and hope to see Consumer refund expediency enacted asap.

There are really many choices on the internet to choose from, regarding expedient 2 day returned merchandise refunds.
As a Consumer I still feel 8 days is really too long to wait for returned merchandise refunds, especially when the competition on the internet can refund in 2 days when they have received the returned merchandise.
HSN needs to rethink a more expedient organized refund method to be up to date with the internet competition and brick and mortar stores, regarding more expedient returned merchandise refunds, or they may lose a lot of business from their HSN Customers.
Regarding internet competition a company must develop expedient policies to ensure their customers remain loyal and return to purchase, and do not chose other competitors due to receiving slow refunds.
@redman1, I’m sorry to see you had to return this order. Please know its not our policy to wait 8 days to refund returns. We want to refund as soon as possible but sometimes this process can get backed up. We have to allow our warehouse 8 days to process the refund before we’re able to manually process the refund for you. If we’ve had the package back for 8 days, please provide the return tracking number so I can get this refund processed for you.
