What was your favorite craft purchase?
Well ladies (and gents), another craft day here and gone. What are you looking forward to receiving the most? I’d been holding off purchasing markers, but sprung for the new Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens last night. Hope I like them.
I thought Anna and Sara both hit it out of the ball park last night. I also bought docrafts Gorjuss stamp and paper sets and HOTP Seaside papers (because it came with a lovely seahorse die set). And the CC Time Travelers stamps and dies (both the seahorse and time travelers are so gender neutral). And…and…and…
How about you? See you all on Aug 16th (Crafters Companion is up at midnight).
I didn’t order the WRMK precision press but am interested in it. Once you use it, please post a review and let us know what you think of it. I’m curious how easy it is to typeset the letters. I did like how it holds the stencils.
I absolutely will peagee. I’m anxious to try the typeset too…. I have something similar from Martha Stewart’s line from awhile back. I’m hoping these will fit in the grooves as well. I think the stencils really makes this tool very versatile.
I bought the Anna Griffin Kodak Verute 6, to replace the HP I bought about 6 months ago. Later I will buy the Spectrum Noir Illustrator Pens, and Color Blend Pencils. I have the big Spectrum Noir 72 pack of watercolor markers, and the Water Color Pencils full set. I am getting my art studio together, one full set at a time. I watched all day and night yesterday. Well almost I did have to stretch my legs, walking my neighbors dog who works. I enjoyed it, and now I planning to buy more.
I’m new to pencils and markers. I bought the trays to store my markers, but wondered how do you store your colored pencils? Mine are in the tin trays, but it would be nice to not have to lay all the trays out, especially if I buy the 2 new color sets? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, when you sharpen your pencils, are you supposed to turn the sharpener, or turn the pencil? I heard Sara mention this once before, but I can’t remember which is correct. Do you know?
Yes,Sara said to turn the sharpener and not the pencil. The sharpener is made especially for that purpose..
I was lucky to be able to get the Spectrum Noir blending kit, the clear set of Rock a Block s, and the We R Memory keepers precision press plus.
