Sold out or not
I received the following email from HSN this morning regarding my order for Crafter’s Companion Black and Gold Bundle and the glitter card pack:
“We’re sorry, but due to unexpected circumstances, we do not have enough inventory to fulfill your order. We hope to have the item in stock in the next 30 days and will ship it to you as soon as possible. Your credit card will not be charged until the order ships. If we are unable to get this item back in stock by 11/02/2017, we will cancel the order.” But when I checked HSN.com the items were not marked as being sold out — what’s going on?
@vanessa1737 I just checked the item and it is showing “extended delivery.” I believe that usually means that HSN did not have the amount of product in stock that they anticipated. This could be due to a delayed delivery from the manufacturer or a glitch in their inventory system. I believe they usually label an item “extended delivery” when they are expecting additional product in the near term. I think they change that to “Wait List” when they’re not sure if they’ll have enough and to “Sold Out” when they know they won’t be receiving any more product. I also think they fill orders in the order they are received, so your order would be filled before someone who orders today. Hopefully, it will just be a short delay and you’ll be able to get crafting with this bundle soon.
